Kate Beckinsale In Marchesa - United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Presents '2014 Los Angeles Dinner What You Do Matters'

Kate Beckinsale attended the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum presents ‘2014 Los Angeles Dinner: What You Do Matters’ event held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday (March 6) in Beverly Hills, California.

The British actress, who looked stunning at the Vanity Fair party on Sunday, opted to wear a Marchesa Fall 2013 dress.
Her pink strapless duchess-satin cocktail dress featuring a draped bodice with red floral embroidery and a bustle-back train accent isn’t my favourite.

The train is bothersome. I feel the dress would’ve looked much better – and less fussy – without it.

A red Rauwolf clutch to complement the floral embroidery, nude pumps, a diamond ear cuff and a wavy updo completed her look.

Yay or nay on the train?

The draping looks cheap and sloppy and the train is plain excessive – I’m also not a fan. And prefer the runway shoes that complement the red embroidery on the dress.

She is normally flawless, but this whole look is a mess.

Her hairstyle is my main problem. It’s messy.

Why does she always wear strapless dresses with the boobs in her neck??

Call me crazy, I like the train. Maybe because it’s gathered to one side in the pictures.. I don’t like it on the model.

Yay, for me. Kate Beckinsale and Marchesa are a perfect match. I’m not crazy about the shoes, maybe satin pumps or sandals would have been more elegant.

    the train is a mess

Yes, the train is bothersome. What the heck were they thinking? Minus the train, I like it.

Oh Kate :( Where to begin? The layer with the embellishment could be so lovely, but get rid of all the messy draping covering half of the dress including the train. Get better shoes. If red pumps look too matchy-matchy, strappy sandals will do. The hair looks a bit messier than usual indeed, something slicker would be preferred, but it’s the other issues that are more important.

I like the look including the train. This looks better on Kate than the model.

For me the train is not a big problem for this perfectly styled look. She looks gorgeous.

Can’t get on board with this. My problems start with the hair itself. The rest is not to my taste too.

Yay on the train and everything about this look. It adds flair and uniqueness to an otherwise just pretty dress. This is amazing overall.

I agree – I think she looks glamorous

  15. Yinka March 7, 2014 at 19:13 #

She is an undoubtedly gorgeous woman but I always find her boring…

  16. Christina March 16, 2014 at 03:14 #

Yay, I think the train works for this look.
