Shailene Woodley In No. 21 – ‘Divergent’ Toronto Premiere

Shailene Woodley In No 21 - 'Divergent' Toronto Premiere

Shailene Woodley’s next stop on her promo tour for her latest movie ‘Divergent’ was Toronto, Canada, where she attended the premiere held at The Scotiabank Theatre with co-star Theo James.

The actress, who has been working fairly casual looks recently, continued that speed wearing a N°21 Pre-Fall 2014 look featuring a mélange knit sweater over a button-up collared pinstripe shirt with lace inserts, paired with paillette-embellished slim cropped pants.

She styled the look with a few rings, slicked-back hair, a glossy lip and Kurt Geiger London ‘Ellen’ pumps.

While some find her style boring, I have to say I really like this look.

She is very much being herself; I love the embellished pants, plus the overall youthful, clean, casual feel and simplicity of the look.

I would wear this in a heartbeat, especially with those lime-green look book pumps, but perhaps not to a premiere.

      +1

I love this look, she looks really great in it.
    But not for a premiere.

to be fair, fC, this is a small screening catered only to the fans. I guess that is why she is being so casual with her style. the world premier is on march 18, maybe she will be less casual there.

I’m pretty sure thats why she is going so casual too. I really like this look. The world premiere should be interesting.

  4. Yeliz March 6, 2014 at 19:29 #

    Love this from h2t.

  5. Rebecca Z March 6, 2014 at 19:36 #

She looks just adorable–whatever the event. Dressy is clearly not her thing.

It’s cute for an office girl which get paid per hour, that’s way too casual for a premiere.

I just want to give her some papers that need faxing.

We’re actually not in the 90s anymore.

      • Edie March 6, 2014 at 21:03 #

Haha… I’d love to wear that to the office though!

A knit sweater, a pinstripe shirt, rolled up sleeves…too casual for the premiere.

  8. Christine March 6, 2014 at 19:49 #

Not for a premiere but photo call yes.

With the perfect styling -some statement jewelry, a gorgeous clutch, better hair and makeup, different shoes- this would be very premiere appropriated. As it is it only works for a photo call. And even so I prefer the look book shoes.

    She looks so d… cool.

  11. amy March 6, 2014 at 20:18 #

she should have worn the lookbook shoes.

  12. dee March 6, 2014 at 20:39 #

I like this but not for a movie premiere.

    • Camille March 6, 2014 at 21:32 #

Agreed and I wish she’d worn the lime green shoes, they take the outfit to another level.

    • Alina March 7, 2014 at 08:05 #

      I agree as well.

LOVE! Break the rules in class, Shailene. Be like Jenna Lyons. She looks like the perfect J. Crew girl!

    • CreoleLady March 7, 2014 at 00:13 #

Yes, my first thought was “there goes Jenna Lyons’ little sister”, lol. All she needs are the tortoiseshells. Not a big fan of Shailene’s style but I love this.

I love this look and it works because this wasn’t actually a premiere it was a screening of the movie. Im sure she’ll dress up for the world premiere. She would have been way over dressed in anything else.

    • admmgz March 12, 2014 at 23:35 #

I love this look! I think it’s perfect for the movie screening :)

  15. Anne Gallagher March 6, 2014 at 23:36 #

I like the look, but I feel she ought to have tried harder for a premiere.

  16. Pedro March 7, 2014 at 11:45 #

    She looks amazing!

    Really cool, fresh and young

  17. the ogre March 7, 2014 at 18:14 #

I like this a lot because she gives off a very relaxed and cool vibe here. There shouldn’t be any strict rules for dressing for such a casual premiere. I would have loved this look if she had paired it with shoes in lime like that in the lookbook. The look is on a different level with those shoes.

I actually like the pants, however that fuzzy sweater is too much for me
