Sienna Miller In Alexander McQueen – Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Sienna Miller In Alexander McQueen - Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Sienna Miller attended the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday (March 2) in West Hollywood, California.
The British actress wore an Alexander McQueen Spring 2014 red chiffon bustier gown.

She really got into the tribal spirit of the collection by styling her frock with a red plexi plate belt, ‘Albers’ beaded skull box clutch and gold arm bangles from the same collection plus Jennifer Fisher jewels.

I love the look; especially the colour and how polished she looks, but there are way too many cuffs going on here.

When should she have stopped? With just one on each wrist.

I love this look on Sienna, minus the cuffs. I find them really distracting.

The dress is gorgeous and her hair and makeup is stunning. But why the cuffs? They are unnecessary and almost ruined this whole look…

Way too many cuffs, but I love the rest.

There are indeed too many cuffs, the dress sits a bit low on her bust and her hair needed more styling.
    Not her best effort.

Way too many cuffs (greatful that she at least skipped the choker). Gorgeous look for her otherwise, love it, including her more interesting belt.

I love the cuffs with the dress, but she should’ve kept the original belt which would’ve complemented her styling. Her belt looks like a prop from the Power Rangers.

      Agree on all counts.

Agree, I hate the belt and like where the cuffs are going. Maybe I’d lose one cuff, is all.

I like the dress well enough, but I like the runway belt much better. Also I think one cuff would have been enough.

    Loved it it screams power

I know Sienna is a bohemian at heart but this not a successful attempt to showcase that spirit. I’m not sure if the bodice is deliberately lowered that way or a lack of body tape but she should have kept the runway version of the bodice. And the cuffs. Oh my! I actually laughed when I first saw it because the cuffs looks the ones Wonder Woman sports and I remember that she uses those cuffs to repel the bullets aimed at her. One is enough Sienna girl.

Good lord, Sienna! Love the look book styling though.

    I love this. Cuffs included.

What was striking, bold, and yet simple in the lookbook is made ridiculous by an overabundance of wonder woman cuffs, and as one commenter put it–a power rangers belt. The gown also needs to be tugged up. As is, it’s a big disappointment.

She ruiined a beautiful dress with her styling.

      Totally agree.

I would have kept the lookbook belt and taken of all those cuffs.

I agree that she over did it on the cuffs, but this dress sends me back to the bohemian free spirited style I used to love from Sienna. This gives me hope that maybe she’s rediscovering fashion again.
