Jennifer Lawrence In Tom Ford – Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Jennifer Lawrence In Tom Ford - Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Jennifer Lawrence attended the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in West Hollywood, California, on Sunday (March 2).

Changing out of her statuesque Christian Dior Couture gown, Jennifer went for a complete over-haul in a high-octane, heavily embellished Tom Ford mini dress.

With a heavy dose of kohl and a sexy black sandal, Jennifer rocked the after party red carpet in this stand-out number.

Not only is it amazing to see her legs, it’s also highly refreshing to see her switch up her look to something more youthful and edgy.

And hopefully the revealing length meant she didn’t trip in this one…

The hairstyle, which appeared to be very aging with her Dior gown, works so much better with this edgy look. She looks gorgeous, I love it.

Horrid. It couldn’t be worse. Dreadful colours.

  3. Charlotte March 3, 2014 at 11:31 #

The hairstyle is awful and I don’t like the dress. But it’s good to see her wearing other thinh than Dior.

Not quite the revelation she had with the Calvin Klein last year, but so much edgier, so much more interesting than the Dior. Can’t believe she extended that contract! I adore her, but it’s so ridiculous how flat her Dior looks fall in comparison to virtually everything else that it starts to feel like sartorial sell-out.

I like this youthful look for her!

  6. Christine March 3, 2014 at 12:54 #

    She looks great!

I hate the hairstyle, it makes her forehead huge ! But i appreciate the styling and the absence of Dior here!

  8. justme March 3, 2014 at 13:19 #

Any youthful vibe this outfit could have is killed by that hairstyle :/

Not very nice greys in this dress… makes it look a bit dirty. 80’s glam not in a good way

I like this. It’s a refreshing way to do sparkle. It’s far more subtle than, say, a fully sequined dress, but it still makes an impact.

    She look sensational here!

I think this is my fav after party look of the night. Love her in something youthful & short!!! Sexy, fun & stunning!

This is the first time I’ve ever done this…but I think I want to take my like back. I saw this from the back on another site and I don’t like it nearly as much. She looks statuesque and gorgeous here but the back looks really trashy to me.

This look reminds me that the first time i noticed her, she was wearing that infamous zipped Tom Ford dress.
Good look. The looks so much better in TOm Ford than in Dior

Did she trip on this one! LOL! That was my first thought! Actually, after so many elegant gowns it was nice to see Jennifer wear something fun and edgy! She looks stunning here.

I really don’t like the shoes or the hair :/

  16. Anj March 3, 2014 at 17:29 #

She looks so much better here than in her Dior red carpet dress. The makeup and hair are off though.

She should have worn Calvin Klein. They fit her better than anyone

  18. ert March 3, 2014 at 19:17 #

    she looks totally awful here

  19. Pablo March 3, 2014 at 19:21 #

So many bad comments… I LOVE the dress, love the sandals, love the makeup. It’s a win for me!

Oh this is a stunning surprise in my opinion! You can make out by the presence she exudes in this dress. She’s more relaxed and confident too. Even last year her after party look was far better than her main event look. This time it’s no different. This is simply cool. I don’t mind the hairstyle much paired with this dress and the make up goes with the aesthetic of the dress. Shoes are fine, but could have been more interesting, but only the fact that she didn’t wear Dior and turned up in something uniquue and different, I vote this straight to BDOTW-worthy material.

The silhouette and hairstyle work together, but the colors are bad. Wish the taupe was cobalt.

    • EmmaWoodhouse March 5, 2014 at 16:23 #

Also not pleased by the sheer side…

  22. SilentVisitor March 3, 2014 at 20:22 #

She looks great; The side view of the dress puts her in Gwyneth’s territory.

  23. amy March 3, 2014 at 20:45 #

werk. she looks lovely and fun

  24. k6wing March 3, 2014 at 22:14 #

The hair ages her + horrible makeup. Please fire Zoe

  25. mana March 3, 2014 at 23:24 #

The hairstyle was her biggest mistake of the night.

  26. Courtney Klein March 4, 2014 at 18:56 #

Beautiful! Too bad her deal is not with Tom Ford. Much sexier and youthful! She’s 23 for goodness sakes. Even her hair looks better with this dress. Chic.

  27. gabis March 7, 2014 at 01:57 #

I think that’s probably the best Dior will allow her to do-to wear one of the most underwhelming dresses from Tom Ford spring collection.
I love the makeup but the hair ages her.
