Kate Mara attended the Vanity Fair and FIAT Celebration of ‘Young Hollywood’ held at No Vacancy on Tuesday (February 25) in Los Angeles, California.
Following from her sexy make-over earlier in the month at ‘House of Cards’ Season 2 Screening, Kate returned to a more feminine, ethereal aesthetic in a Christian Dior green and light pink silk cocktail dress.
And what a vision of beauty she was. With her hair loosely pulled from her face and the green-infused smoky eye topped off a great look for Kate.
Forest green is clearly becoming a favourite for the actress, who accessorised with a Dior Fine Jewellery ‘Ma Bague’ yellow gold, diamonds and green tourmaline ring and emerald green Prada clutch.
Kate’s Brian Atwood blush metallic ‘Debra slingbacks’ did however prove to be a disappointment. While the colour ensures all eyes are on Kate’s dress, the platform sole is just so heavy and clunky. A pointed pump would have been so much more elegant, don’t you think?

She looks stunning! Green is definitely her colour!
I like the originality of the dress, youthfully flirty, perfect for her. But it appears to be hanging droopily, quite a poor effect, and the clunky shoes are an eyesore. Her hair and makeup are gorgeous however.
Love that hair and makeup. Period.

From the ankles up, I love it! The makeup is perfection.

This is ugly!
I don’t like the dress or shoes.
I’m going to pretend that those shoes don’t exist because i love everything else so much
Shame about the shoes!
What in the earth made her wear those shoes?! I really like the dress and hair and makeup, but can’t overlook the shoes.
Those shoes make me weep! What a gorgeous look–perfected by anything less clunky! Ankles-up, this might still be my favorite look of hers ever though.
