Lily Allen In Vintage Norrell – Brit Awards 2014

Lily Allen In Vintage Norrell - Brit Awards 2014

After a long hiatus from the red carpet, Lily Allen has been popping up at nearly every event lately, including the Brit Awards 2014 held at the O2 Arena in London this evening (February 19).

Dressed in a 1965 Norrell midnight-blue high-neck, long-sleeve sequin gown from vintage emporium WilliamVintage; this is yet another highly dramatic look for Lily.

Some might not be able to appreciate the yellow ombre hair matching her Chanel clutch, but I think it’s a fun quirk to her look.

I’ve tried to like her hair because it’s complementary with the clutch but I don’t. The gown, however, looks good on her.

Love this dress. And given what I have seen today, Allen’s version of OTT styling is at least coherent.

She has been rocking the red carpet lately. I appreciate all of her looks as of late with this being my favorite of the recent bunch!

Ah, legendary Norrell! I agree she wears the dress well, but the yellow hair seems like a sacrilege.

The gown is nice but not the dated styling

I like the gown on her and surprisingly I actually dont mind the hair. I think its quirky and appropriate for the event. Not a fail, but I don’t LOVE it either.

The dress, clutch and makeup are nice. Her quirk touch, the yellow ombre, I don’t mind but the ponytail on the top of the head is awful. SO dated. And that big earring couldn’t be more unnecessary even if it tried.

The hair, jewelry and clutch took this gown to tackyville.

I’m usually not a fan of her style, but I like this on her. The hair is borderline, but I think the strong colours work with the vintage and retro feel.
