Gillian Anderson took to the red carpet at the 2014 BAFTAs, hosted Sunday (February 16) at The Royal Opera House in London, England.
The actress selected a vintage 1949 Balmain haute couture gown from WilliamVintage.
Colour-blocked in shades of blue, the strapless dress featured a tiered bodice, which tied in the back with scarf-like panels that floated to the bottom of the navy ball skirt.
In keeping with the blue theme, she wore matching gemstone and diamond necklace and earrings.
Even so, something seemed to be missing here. Perhaps a statement lip lacquer, or a different ‘do, would have made all the difference.
