Katy Perry In Marc Jacobs – Hollywood Stands Up To Cancer

Katy Perry In Marc Jacobs - Hollywood Stands Up To Cancer

Katy Perry joined Gwyneth Paltrow on the red carpet for the Hollywood Stands Up To Cancer event on Tuesday (January 28), held at The Book Bindery in Culver City, California.

The singer donned a body contouring Marc Jacobs Resort 2014 dress featuring all-over vertical sequin stripes, creating an elongating illusion on the body.

While the dress is gorgeous, I can’t say the same about her accessories.

The black-and-gold theme would’ve been a successful one if her Giuseppe Zanotti ankle strap shoes and military style belt weren’t so aggressive.

I only like the shoes. The dress does nothing for her figure.

Love the dress but not on Katy. Has she changed stylists? Because she hasn’t picked any piece that suits her in a long time…

Not flattering. It’s a shame because her hair and makeup are gorgeous and the colour of the dress works with her skin tone.

Agreed. A thinner belt and thinner ankle strap would have made this look a lot better — the dress looks fine on her and her hair/makeup is on-point. I just keep staring at the ankle straps — they’re way too much and too distracting.

      I completely agree.

The dress is not flaterring on her and the length of the dress doesn’t work with the strap sandals !

I kinda like the dress on her but agree about the accessories.

I don’t like what she’s done to this dress.

    No to this whole look

Why wear a wide, chunky ankle-strap sandals when you don’t have the height for them? The dress hits at an awkward length in the first place, and the shoes only shorten her figure some more.
