Madonna In Dsquared² – Great American Songbook Event Honoring Bryan Lourd

Madonna In Dsquared² Fall 2011 - Great American Songbook Event Honoring Bryan Lourd

Madonna also attended ‘The Great American Songbook’ event honouring Bryan Lourd at Alice Tully Hall on Monday (February 10) in New York City.

Keeping to her favoured colour black; the singer wore a Dsquared² Fall 2011 long black leather long sleeve button-down dress.

It’s all very dramatic; which is exactly what we’d expect from the Queen of Pop.

On the model it looks fierce!!! On Madonna it’s good but not as fierce.

I really long for her to return to knockout glamour. She did Marilyn back in the day, she could easily look fantastic channelling Sofia Loren now. This all black n chains look is so harsh.

Looks more like a Halloween cape/costumey on the model with that hat esp., but darkly and elegantly cool and dramatic on Madonna. She wears it beautifully imo.

I really love this look and I think it was a brilliant way to cover up the fact that she is wearing trainers due to her foot injury.

Perfection, besides the tailoring issue at the bottom. Hair, makeup, grillz gone…stunning.

I think she looks fabulous. I like how she wore this as a dress instead of a coat. Hair and makeup are lovely too.

Totally works on the runway. On Madonna I find it too costumey–agreed, Nat–and also way too long.

    Kind of makes me shudder.

I saw more pics of her and God she looks young. It must be the new MDNA Skin care line she will be releasing but only in Japan. Geez! I love the look on her. It’s great that we can’t see the shoes becuse they were sneaker wedges. Love you girl, BDOTW!
