Anne Hathaway In Calvin Klein Collection – The Great American Songbook After-Party

Anne Hathaway In Calvin Klein Collection - The Great American Songbook After-Party

Following her appearance on stage, Anne Hathaway changed for the after-party celebrating The Great American Songbook event on Monday (February 10) in New York City.

Dressed in all black, Anne wore a Calvin Klein Collection Spring 2014 look featuring a sleeveless crepe top with wide straps, a high straight neck, a bandeau bodice, and a suspended waist with all-over tonal fringe, styled with tapered black silk pants in preference over the wide-leg pants we saw on the runway.

A box clutch, ankle-strap pumps and silver jewels accessorized the look; the only thing missing for me was perhaps a bold lip colour.

I see that she is experimenting with new looks but this is ugly. The top half

she looks even sloppier than the vionnet did! who is this “new stylist”?! she used to look more polished, albeit annoying and polished.

I hear it’s Rose Byrne’s stylist so she must be in good hands. Usually they talk about this look before going with it. Anne must have wanted to be very edgy. I get it. I actually like this look except the shoes.

I like the look : sophisticated and sleek!

That is one strange top. It’s a testament to Anne’s beauty (and her great posture) that she still looks rather pretty here.

      I totally agree.

i think its exciting Anne is open to modern fashion and clean lines rather than always looking like the ethereal princess.. about time for a change, fashion is all about that and not taking oneself too seriously.. no?

Honestly, I think she is calling the shots despite changing stylists. She seems to be sticking to the simple sleek silhouettes she stuck to during last awards season.

This is awful. Unflattering and ugly. The shoes are cute but that’s it.

I think it’s a cool, modern and edgy look for the after-party, and Anne wears it very well. Glad the pants were modified.

    “What the hell is that?”
    “A top.”
    “Says who?”
    “Calvin Klein.”

      Hahaha, Good one!

“Go upstairs and put something over it.”

      You win, that’s spot on!

    That top looks so awful.

I can’t blame Hathaway for this. No one could carry this off. Calvin Klein just went off the rails here.

Her new stylist is picking interesting pieces but sadly none that look good on Anne. She can’t pull this off and the Vionnet dress she wore was unflattering on her (despite how lovely the actual dress is).
I’ll give her credit for taking risks though…

That’s a hot mess! Only her beautiful face and smile survive.
