Diane Kruger In Elie Saab – ‘The Better Angels’ Berlin Film Festival Premiere

Diane Kruger In Elie Saab - 'The Better Angels' Berlin Film Festival Premiere

Diane Kruger attended ‘The Better Angels’ premiere during the 64th Berlinale International Film Festival held at Haus der Berliner Festspiele on Monday (February 10) in Berlin, Germany.

Wearing her second look of the evening, the German actress went from heavily embellished in Chanel, to minimalist in Elie Saab.

It’s not often the words “minimalist” and “Elie Saab” are used it the same sentence. However, the actress is radiant here, wearing a stark white long-sleeve crew-neck gown with an on-trend sheer skirt accented with a white leather belt with a gold clasp from the Pre-Fall 2014 collection.

Opting for a bold red lip color, she also switched up her hair for her third outing of the day, sweeping the right side behind her hair, while leaving the left side free flowing.

The Chanel look has received mixed reactions, so how does this cleaner, sharper look fare?

So much better! This is BDOTW-worthy in my opinion.

Even though I am tired of sheer skirts, she looks great in this dress. glad she wore her hair down and the red lips are divine.

      Yes she looks amazing!

Simple, clean styling elevates this looks. Don’t like the sheer skirt, prefer the sequinned sheer skirt in the Chanel look.

Hmmmm….not sure. She looks beautiful, but the bottom part of the dress reminds me too much of a curtain to really like this look.

The photocall look still wins for me hands down and easily. I kinda like the idea of this and don’t have a problem with a sheer skirt well done, but don’t feel that there’s much connection between the skirt and the top. If the lines pattern were echoed somewhere in the top I think I would like this more. I don’t like the clutch and give her the benefit of the doubt that the make up is due to the harsh flash lighting.

How long is Diane in Berlin? I hope for a couple of more days as I could look forward to seeing her make an appearance a couple of times a day. I think this looks wonderful. She looks every bit the star.

I like Diane but I don’t necessarily love her. This outfit, however, is sincerely amazing. BDOTW poll worthy at minimum.

A much better, cleaner look, the sheer skirt is done tastefully here. I’ll take modern minimalist elegance over that ridiculous, flashy, ‘extra festive with a dose of matronly’ number any day.

This is MUCH better. Love it.

This is so gorgeous. I love it just as much as I loved the Chanel from earlier in the day. Yes, I did love that Chanel…she always looks wonderful IMO because she can so effortlessly pull off the most difficult looks.

I’d still want to see the Chanel look up on the poll. That was a more interesting direction for me.

Another sheer skirt but I can’t help but be wowed when it looks so good on Diane. She looks chic and stunning and I love me some perfectly styled minimalistic look.

This is much better overall and it reflects at her expression, too. But I must admit that the Chanel skirt will stay on my mind. This look won’t.

Despite the whole sheer trend getting a little old and tired..this will go down as one of my favourite sheer dresses. Sheer yet very classy!! Love it!
