Amy Adams In Elie Saab – 86th Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon

Amy Adams In Elie Saab - 86th Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon

Amy Adams joined Lupita Nyong’o on the red carpet for the 86th Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday (February 10) in Beverly Hills, California.

The change of pace when it comes to Amy’s style has been welcomed by all, so I was delighted she took another right turn this afternoon wearing a head-to-toe red look from Elie Saab’s Resort 2014 collection.

The look is simple enough with a silk chiffon blouse styled with wide leg trousers, but it’s the color and effortless styling, consisting of an EF Collection necklace and silver rings, which makes this look what it is: flawless.

Amy has really done vibrant colors so beautifully this award season. I don’t think she’s had a single misstep. This look is fabulous!!! This pant suit is WAY more fierce than a ladies doing lunch mid length dress aka whatever one else was wearing.

For me, she’s been my favorite on the red carpet this season. This is unexpected for her, and I adore it.

+1 – she is giving me 70s fabulousness in this.

Also gotta give her props for perfect pant length!

She looks nice, and certainly in tone with the film she’s representing. But as with Cate, I’m getting quite an unfinished vibe from this.

Love the orange-red color on her. This is a chic, effortless look. Nice change to see pants instead of a dress.

Love it – the vibrant colour, the unexpected chic non-dress approach, the simple clean styling – a perfect standout and effortless look for the luncheon. Slightly missing the thin belt, but it’s minor. She looks h2t fabulous and carries it off with ease. I applaud Amy, she’s been great this season.

Pretty–I would have preferred the pants with a slightly higher rise and a belt. They look just slightly sloppy.

  17. shap_half February 10, 2014 at 22:08 #

The color is stunning on her, but I find that hair distracting. I would have preferred something sleeker.

    Fabulous. Love this on her.
