Greta Gerwig In Lanvin - ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ Berlinale Film Festival Premiere

Greta Gerwig attended ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ premiere, which served as the opening ceremony of the 64th Berlinale International Film Festival held at Berlinale Palast on Thursday (February 6) in Berlin, Germany.

The actress, and jury member for this festival, wore a Lanvin Spring 2014 custom-made bronze liquid lamé tiered gown featuring black grosgrain detailing and a black woven belt with crystal paisley accents.

Usually, when I’m not sure about a dress, I say to myself ‘could Diane Kruger, Cate Blanchett or Tilda Swinton pull this off?’ If my answer is no, then I know I really don’t like it. That is sadly the case on this occasion.

Between the colour and the tiered detailing on the hips, this has to be my least favourite custom piece by the great Monsieur Alber Elbaz.
