Best Dressed Of The Week, Blog
Lily Aldridge, hands down, and David Beckham for the men.
Easy pick this week : Lily A. in Rosie A.!
Lily Aldridge in Rosie Assoulin. My runners-up are Gwyneth Paltrow and Elizabeth Banks in Osman, who had an amazing week but this look stood out in my eyes. And best dressed man for me is David Beckham.
While I love Lily’s and Gwyneth’s looks, I have to give it to Elizabeth for her many perfect looks this week. So I vote for Elizabeth Banks in Roland Mouret.
My best dressed man is Bruno Mars in Saint Laurent.
Have a great weekend, Catherine!
gwyneth and david b for me… if there were a catergory for overall best dressed of the week it would have to be elizabeth banks… a great week for her!
stop picking best dressed men base on their face and star looking at the clothes!!! beckham looks so blah! in his suit…
Beckham is on the highest level of dapper here, crisper, sharper than anyone else, absolutely impeccable, every single detail is on point, down to the pocket square and the amount of shirt cuff showing at the sleeve. If anyone can wear a suit, it’s Beckham. I believe, he is winning deservingly.
I think you will find a consistent effort in these polls to pick a wide variety of looks, from what I would call wild to what you would call blah.
Most of us can appreciate a well-put-together look, whether it’s a classic conservative one or downright crazy, but all of us have our preferences. (I myself rather like “blah”!)
What I wish you had done is to tell us who YOU liked best!
Lily Aldridge is easily my favorite…and a contender for my BDOTY list.
Elizabeth Banks in Roland Mouret would be my runner-up.
For the men, well, it’s very hard to beat David Beckham in a classic, well-fitted suit. He gets my vote for h2t perfection.
Bruno Mars is my runner-up, not really based on this photo, but for how sharp and bright he looked at the Super Bowl.
Elizabeth and Michael.
i don’t know what’s up but suddenly prada’s making lovely gowns where in the past i’ve hated nearly all of them. i had to give it to gwyneth for that, but lily is definity BDOTY material and who could resist bruno in that great performance outfit?
For me it was Elizabeth in Roland Mouret–so classy and vibrant and brought together with those fantabulous heels.
David for the men, because he looks so crisp and put together.
I’m shocked that Lily isn’t winning by a wider margin. She is a vision in that white gown. At the moment, she’s my pick for BDOTY, but it’s only February!
I voted for Lily Aldridge in Rosie Assoulin. I loved the necklace and the unique style of the dress. My runners-up would be Abbie Cornish in Elie Saab and Sami Gayle in Miu Miu. For me Elie Saab can do no wrong and I loved the bright orange colour of Abbie’s sparkly dress.
I loved the light blue colour of Sami’s dress, and that she kept the look youthful with the fun shoes.
My best dressed male was Bruno Mars in Saint Laurent. I thought that his look was a good choice for the Superbowl halftime show. My runners-up would be Michael B. Jordan in Vivienne Westwood Man, and Joel Kinnaman in Ermenegildo Zegna. I like how they’re both opting for colourful suits on the red carpet.
