Saoirse Ronan In Valentino -’The Grand Budapest Hotel’ Berlinale Film Festival Premiere

Saoirse Ronan In Valentino -'The Grand Budapest Hotel' Berlinale Film Festival PremiereAfter attending ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ photo call, Saoirse Ronan took to the red carpet alongside Léa Seydoux for the film’s premiere on Wednesday (February 6) during the 64th Berlinale Film Festival at the Berlinale Palast in Berlin, Germany.

The actress found inspiration in the Valentino Spring 2014 collection, wearing a loosely silhouetted, emerald-green gown.

Leaving most of the theatrical styling to the runway, she did add the drama of the same studded headband atop her sleek, straight locks. While she accessorized with a gold cuff, that pendant choker necklace was nowhere in sight.

She also skipped sandals in favour of black peep-toe heels.

The colour of the dress was captivating here. But my wish is that it had been a bit more flattering and bit less tent-like.

I do love the colour of the gown but that’s it. The gown itself is too shapeless and I don’t like that headband.

She is basically wearing a big chunk of plain green material which does nothing to give her a flattering shape. Her attempt to elevate it with gold accessories doesn’t save the look. Disappointing choice.

Agreed. This is basically a huge chunk of nothing

I don’t know, I like this. I can’t say the dress is unflattering to her body type because it’s not like it makes any part of her body look bad – I can still tell that this is a loose dress draped over her and she has a waist in there. It doesn’t make her look short either. I think is was a choice based on her face, she has a mesmerizing, medieval painting type of beauty, I can’t help but think that in person she would be lovely to see in this.

I love the colour of the dress and her face looks stunning… but that’s all.

Love the color, love that she’s going out on a limb style-wise, but seriously? Only a waif-like model could even begin to make that thing work.

Just putting on a dress isn’t getting dressed, my dear.

Well, I have to say that I really like the dress. The colour is absolutely beautiful. And she looks better than the model.
