Maggie Gyllenhaal In Sportmax – 4th Annual Plates for Pediatrics Dinner

Maggie Gyllenhaal In Sportmax S14 – 4th Annual Plates for Pediatrics Dinner

Max Mara sponsored the fourth annual Plates for Pediatrics dinner benefitting The Komansky Center for Children’s Health at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, held at The St. Regis in New York on Thursday (January 30).

The evening was co-chaired by TK, with honorary chairman Maggie Gyllenhaal who was decked out by the sponsor.

Sporting a shorter version of her signature cropped ‘do, Maggie wore a Sportmax pink-and-black silk polka-dot camisole and pants, which she styled with simple black suede pumps, gold jewels and a fuchsia lip.

I love the fun-spirited nature of the look, but it feels a bit oversized, like she needed to go one size down.

This is couture-ish — it’s supposed to be a little “over the top.” I love the look on Maggie, and the cute short haircut. Re the size, it’s fine. Not everything needs to be skin-tight. Refreshing to see a celebrity take a fashion risk now and then!

This is awful and was she cold? It’s cold in NY right now.

The top shouldn’t be tucked in and the shoes are appalling.

I kinda like the ensemble on her but not those chunky shoes.

If the outfit weren’t so baggy and if she had carried through the fun by wearing funkier (or at least less heavy) shoes, this might have worked.

I don’t know, I kinda like this look. She makes it work. I don’t even mind the loose fit.

    Looks clownish.

Think so too. The close up is kinda cute, but the dots aren’t great and the wide pants don’t make things better.

Would’ve been an ok look if it fit her. Therefore it comes off big and sloppy
