Madonna In Fausto Puglisi – Miley Cyrus: MTV Unplugged

Madonna In Fausto Puglisi - Miley Cyrus MTV Unplugged
Madonna was also giving us a giddy-up moment, alongside Miley Cyrus, at the ‘Miley Cyrus: MTV Unplugged’ performance at Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood, California, which premiered on Wednesday (January 29).

The music mogul wore a Fausto Puglisi custom black silk button-down shirt with studded leather fringe, paired with black silk cady flared trousers.

The ensemble was crafted in Italy and featured a sparkling display of multi-colored crystals, which were hand-embroidered over hundreds of hours and applied to the lengths of each garment.

An embellished, black cowboy hat was a must here, along with a studded, gun-slinging belt and that fingerless glove we see reappearing on the songstress.

Without question, the look was influenced by traditional American western style, but Madge of course worked her inner cowgirl in her signature brand of high-wattage style. It’s hard not to love all the attitude radiating from this look.

Wished she’d sounded as good as she looked here!

She looks great and it was a perfect outfit for the performance. Would love to see the embellishment up close.

Okay…but really? All of a sudden Madonna’s gone all C&W on us.

Grandma goes to the hoedown! I realize that this is a stage costume, but what bothers me about Madonna is that she tries way to hard to stay hip. There is a touch of desperation about her efforts.

      +1 x 1,000

      “Grandma goes to the hoedown!”

Really? Sorry but you sound so ageist and sexist.
When a 55 year old man wants to have fun no one does this kind of joke.

If a 55 year old man wore the masculine version of this mess I’d have to agree that “Grandfather went to the hoe down”. As for the “ageism” label, not everything is appropriate for every age. This ensemble proves that concept.

Now this is what I call a good stage costume. Splendid.

      I like it too!

Whatever to the haters! Hahaha! She’s having fun. It’s covered up so you can’t say she’s too old and she’s known for always being over the top so this is kinda tame.

Fun fact: Fausto Puglisi designed some of her cowboy otufits during the Music era. Yes, she was an early supporter of Fausto. It’s great that she’s one of those big popstars who supports small talents and now they’re making it. You go girl!

    BTW. Love this look! :)
