Zendaya Coleman In Emanuel Ungaro – 2014 Grammy Awards

ZendayaColemanInEmanuelUngaro2014GrammyAwards

Zendaya Coleman walked the red carpet at the 2014 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (January 26).

The singer/actress wore a skirt and blouse combination from Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2014.

Zendaya looked perfectly on-trend in a sheer black blouse with oversized pockets, which she wore all buttoned up. The sophisticated top was paired with an airy teal and black polka dotted skirt. She completed her red carpet look with minimalist black heels and a box clutch

For beauty, Zendaya wore her hair up with a sultry smokey eye and nude lip.

This top and skirt look is not typical for an award ceremony, but I thought the look was playful and fresh. Do you agree?

  2. Fanny January 27, 2014 at 02:26 #

    My favourite so far.

Not a fan of this look. I just don’t think the top and bottom go together.

I saw her on tv posing on the carpet & I was thinking to myself “now, that’s an awesome outfit & her makeup is great! Love it!”

If I could change one thing though, it’d be her choice of shoes..

      +1.

Finally something a bit more interesting, unusual, modern and edgy. Would’ve preferred cool sandals instead of conservative pumps for this fresh and edgy look.

+1! It’s really such a shame about the shoes!

Love that this is such a different (less flashy) look. That turquoise skirt is brilliant. Not a fan of the transparent top, though. I find the breast pockets and sleeve embellishments rather silly looking, to be honest. Wish she had chosen something sleeker on top.

    Not a fan of this.

I love the look, it’s fresh and interesting. She’s young and can pull this off. On my top of the night. Even the Grammys have become quite boring this days when everybody wants to dress “nice” and the stylists just make everyone look the same.

I love it. Easily one of the best dressed.

Love this look!!! The outfit itself is so fresh and different and unique, and the styling is perfectly spot-on! Definitely one of the best dressed of the night.

Agree. Such a great look and really refreshing!

  12. stella January 27, 2014 at 10:35 #

IMO, the best dressed of the night
    I want this look NOW!

I do not really like this. I think it’s too much for a 17year old girl, especially the sheer shirt. Not really age appropriate me thinks. Also very boring accessories!

I would have agreed with you, BUT she wore a bandeau bra under the shirt, which to me, made all the difference!

Sandals would’ve perfected this look for me but I still love this interesting look. She looks amazing and is my favourite of the event so far.

I absolutely adore this look!! +1 to her for wearing a black bandeau underneath the sheer top. Contrary to the popular opinion, I like the shoes. Her shirt/skirt did all the talking it needed. The simple black pumps, black clutch and sleek ponytail prevented the look from being too much.
