Foxes In Vivienne Westwood Gold Label – 2014 Grammy Awards

Foxes In Vivienne Westwood Gold Label - 2014 Grammy Awards

Foxes was one of the first out on the red carpet at the 2014 Grammy Awards, hosted at the Staples Center on Sunday (January 26) in Los Angeles, California.

The songstress who’s nominated for Best Dance Recording with music producer Zedd, embraced two trends—monochrome and print—in a Vivienne Westwood Gold Label gown.

The off-the-shoulder, white draped detail brought the romance, while the black-and-white allover squiggle print delivered on some of the funk factor expected at the Grammys.

Skipping the red lip we see so often with monochromatic moments, she went for a nude colour and highlighted her eyes with a heavy kohl-edged cat-eye. A cascade of ombre locks topped off the look.

You may recall we saw Naomie Harris wear Vivienne Westwood’s same doodle-print, manifested in a slightly different style of dress, late last year.

    I don’t love it, I don’t hate it. But I certainly preferred Naomie’s version.

Have no idea who majority of the people on the red carpet.

But this look is very interesting to say the least. I kinda like it.

Naomie’s version is the superior one of course.

I like the gown on her but she should’ve worn her hair up.

Totally agree. A loose ponytail would have been perfect.

The dress is nice. I think that with a bit more color on the lip and uniformly black hair it would have been a great look.
(The ombre really kills it for me.)

100% agree, the splash of brown draws attention to a random area and kills the drama of look.

Minus the hair I like it. It’s feminine, flattering yet fun.

I absolutely adore this look! It’s hip and modern, but it’s soft and romantic! I love the black and white print with draping neckline, I think her hair and makeup are perfect! Kudos!

I love Foxes’ dress and I don’t mind the ombre hair, I just wish it were in a ponytail. A pop of color on the lips would’ve been preferable, but I’ll live. It just makes what could’ve been spectacular only on par.

I love this look. It’s young and cool and so appropriate for the Grammys-she looks Awesome!

Although I still think she looks fabulous, I agree I would’ve like to hafe seen her hair up. I was thinking for her age and the edginess, yet still romantic and somewhat subdued look of the design, I thought she looked appropriate.

I love it! and it matches with her hair!

If I put my thumb on the bag, then this is okay. Kinda looks like she’s shrugging her shoulders, which I find amusing. Nice look.
