Nail Trend Spotting: 2014 SAG Awards Chic Naturals

Nail Trend Spotting - 2014 SAG Awards Chic Naturals

A few of the gorgeous ladies who attended the annual SAG Awards showcased some lovely, light-coloured manicures. Though each manicurist had different inspirations in mind, they all lead to the same thing: elegance.

Celeb manicurist Lisa Postma was inspired by “something very Parisian” and dressed up Elisabeth Moss’ nails in a beautiful neutral color: Essie’s Cocktails and Coconuts, which is part of their upcoming resort collection.

Christina Aviles, Sarah Hyland’s manicurist, went for something simple and clean. Essie’s upcoming Vanity Fairest looked gorgeous against Sarah’s baby pink gown.

Michelle Dockery sported quite a cocktail of pinky lights thanks to celeb manicurist Christina Aviles. The combo: Essie’s Ballet Slippers and Mademoiselle. She wanted to pair Michelle’s classic black and white gown with something class and fresh.

I never understand how to choose one of the millions of nudes/pinks there are out there. I mean, they seem to be endless, but do they really even end up looking different once they’re on? I’m just not experienced in this. I always wear bold, bright colors.
