Miroslava Duma In Louis Vuitton – Sidaction Gala Dinner

Miroslava Duma In Louis Vuitton - Sidaction Gala Dinner

Miroslava Duma attended the Sidaction Gala Dinner held at the Pavillon d’Armenonville on Thursday (January 23) in Paris, France joining Chloe Sevigny and Dita von Teese.

I’ve said that I didn’t expect we would see much of the Louis Vuitton Spring 2014 collection on the red carpet, deeming it too complicated to wear, but as this is the fourth look to hit the red carpet within a week it appears that I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Following Adele Exarchopoulos, Elle Fanning and Imogen Poots, Miroslava, known for her impeccable style, took a sheer black embellished top and a feathered-and-embellished jacket, making it her own, styling it with a fur-trimmed tweed skirt and accessorizing with an LV embellished bucket bag and black suede over-the-knee boots.

She’s selling this look to me in a way the model couldn’t.

Does she sell it to you?

Wow! I’m loving it! Your right, Miroslava is selling this look in a way the model couldn’t and that’s not easy to do!

I really, really, really shouldn’t like it, but for some unknown reason, it works and I like it!

      Me too!

I don’t like this look. Too much is going on.

I really loathe this collection, but I really like this on Miroslava.

      This! Exactly!

With all the feathers, sheerness, the tiny skirt and esp. teamed with over-the-knee boots, it’s still a tackyville to me. I can see this risque top and bold jacket potentially working when toned down with a pair of sleek pants but with the little skirt and high boots – just not classy enough.

Adore!!! Miroslova is a Goddess. Somehow she manages to pull this off.

How does she doe it? She makes this look like a reasonable thing to wear out in the world. Spectacular.

I’m on the opposite side. The model is selling this to me in a way that I would even consider to wear it. Miroslava on the other hand can’t get anything from me except ‘no, no, no’.

  9. Renata January 24, 2014 at 17:34 #

What can I say? She pulls it off.

Hmmm. To the left, Cirque du Soliel. To the right, a goth Tinker Bell. Not feeling either, tbh.

    • Nat39 January 24, 2014 at 19:45 #

Ha ha, a goth Tinker Bell – perfect description.
Miroslava manages to look cute but it’s still a no to both from me as well.

I started to think she was pulling this off, until i pictured meeting her in real life, i would probably think: wtf. It only worked on elle because she toned it down and is young and quirky enough.
