Abbie Cornish In Philip Armstrong – ‘RoboCop’ LA Photocall

Abbie Cornish In Philip Armstrong - 'RoboCop' LA Photocall

Abbie Cornish attended the ‘RoboCop’ photocall held at SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills on Thursday (January 23) in Los Angeles, California.

The Australian actress opted for a British designer, wearing a Philip Armstrong, a designer who was highly celebrated at Wednesday night’s National Television Awards.

Her white stretch-jacquard cocktail dress from the designer’s Spring 2014 collection, featuring sheer inserts in the sculptural cut-out panels in the bodice, was styled with event-appropriate nude suede pumps.

A bright pink lip, an updo and Graziela Gems rounded out her look.

More inspiring footwear would’ve taken me from like to love.

Shame about the shoes and I also wish the sheer insert wouldn’t be so obvious. Still, I like the dress and it fits her very well

The dress is great on her, the sculptural neckline keeps it up to date, bright lippie is a nice touch. I’m fine with the simple pumps for the photocall, just wish they weren’t suede at least.

The dress fits her so damn well but I hate the shoes. Absolutely nondescript!

There is just something always off with her for me. Apart from the snooze shoes, I don’t like the bodice or neckline of this dress on her–the twins are too low and the neckline is so imperial. Just don’t like it.

Nice dress, shame about the styling.

The dress fits her to perfection, I love it. It’s such a shame about the shoes.

I think she looks amazing. Love the dress. She is beautiful and I’m happy she’s finally turning her style around.

I think this dress is great on her. Event-appropriate, yet still interesting and chic…and sexy–subtly sexy! Eyven the shoes are okay with me. True she could’ve worn far better, but they don’t take awa from the look for me.
