Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos attended the ‘Les Lumières 2014’ cinema awards 19th ceremony, hosted on Monday (January 20) at Espace Cardin in Paris, France. The two French ‘it’ girls, who were recognized for their work in ‘Blue is the Warmest Colour,’ were both decked in complementary, head-to-toe Miu Miu looks for the occasion, which is only apropos as they star in the label’s Resort 2014 campaign.
Léa Seydoux: Leveraging her rich flame-toned hair, which was slicked into a low knot, Léa wore a black-and-white, colour-blocked dress, accented with a cascading orange paillette-embroidered neckline from the Resort 2014 collection. What really brought the look together for me was the added pop of her fiery pumps: sweet and sassy, all at once.
Adèle Exarchopoulos: Like Léa, Adèle selected an embellished short frock, hers a black, silk-crepe sleeveless number with a green paillette-embroidered collar, also from Resort 2014. Her footwear likewise delivered an extra punch, as those black satin Miu Miu t-straps featured a sparkling, crystal-encased heel. You may recall that another young trendsetter, Kiernan Shipka, wore a similar incarnation of this dress last fall.
