Sarah Paulson In Marc Jacobs – Producers Guild Awards

Sarah Paulson attended the 2014 Producers Guild Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 19) in Beverly Hills, California, joining Lupita Nyong’o and Helen Mirren.

The general consensus was that her Rochas dress for the SAG Awards was too twee, so she went in the other direction this time, wearing a sexy Marc Jacobs Spring 2014 sequin mocha short-sleeved frock with purple floral accents.

The look was well styled with Christian Louboutin shoes, Rona Pfeiffer earrings and a black satin clutch.

Perhaps the fact that you can see her black pants through her dress will be incredibly off-putting, but do you prefer this look over her SAGAs dress?

The fact that we can see the panties bothers me a lot, but I still much prefer this to her Globes and SAG Awards looks.

There is just so much going on with this outfit which is just so wrong. The sheerness of the fabric, the visible panties, the length of the skirt, the shoulder pads and the sequins all work against her. One of the worst looks of the week.

I like it a lot. Even on the runway you can see panties underneath, so it must be intentional. At least it’s not the same boring dress that every one wears. She looks great!

The visible panties are certainly a flaw but I’ll take this look over her SAG baffling look with the little girl’s dress and tragic hair any day. Plus her hair and makeup are really nice here.

My thoughts exactly! Her hair and makeup were the first thing I noticed, and it’s a HUGE improvement! Plus, I really like this dress, it’s interesting, glam, and finally, age-appropriate. I would definitely prefer not to see her underpants, but I guess, for me, it’s just not the deal-breaker that it is for some.

I’m sorry but no, this look makes me want to put her back in her amazing Carolina Herrera gown from the Emmys. Why is she choosing all sorts of tea-length dresses when there are plenty of gowns to be had?

Sarah is wearing a Marc Jacobs Spring 2014 sequined dress.

First thought: “Well, at least it’s not a frou-frou dress again.’. Then I saw her panties and I was like: “Go back to frou-frou dresses!”.

No matter what or whom you are wearing if everyone can see your panties is a one way ticket to Tackyville :/
