Keira Knightley In Valentino – ‘Laggies’ Sundance Film Festival Premiere

Keira Knightley In Valentino - 'Laggies' Sundance Film Festival Premiere

Before heading to London for tonight’s ‘Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit’ London premiere, Keira Knightley attended the ‘Laggies’ premiere held at Eccles Center Theatre during the 2014 Sundance Film Festival on Friday (January 17) in Park City, Utah.

You would be forgiven if you thought she was wearing Burberry Prorsum because the look is not too dissimilar to the outfit worn by Sandra Bullock at the AFI Awards, but she’s actually wearing a Valentino Pre-Fall 2014 look.

Her grey three-quarter-sleeved sweater accentuated with a black bow-accented belt was paired with a macramé-lace skirt in the same grey hue, with the look edged up with black lace-up booties.

Any bets on Keira wearing Chanel or Valentino this evening?

I love the sweater and the belt but I don’t like the skirt and the shoes.
Still, I’m glad she did something different than usual.

I find the length of the skirt quite unflattering, most of all with those shoes. Love her glossy hair.

I agree about the lenght. It looks like the look had more potential but just falls flat this way for me.

I actually love this. It’s original and she pulls it off with ease! Very chic!

Totally agree, she pulls it off and I love it.

    Ankles-up, I like it.

I don’t think there is any point in expecting that she’ll wear any other designer than Chanel or Valentino. I just hope it’s a memorable look.

This is a great look. She looks lovely.

I think she looks great and this look is perfect for Sundance.
I’m hoping for an Elie Saab jaw-dropping gown for tonight. Fingers crossed!

Head-to-toe this is a no for me.

Right. I only like it in the pics where she is wearing a black coat over it.

I adore this look from had to toe. The bowtie detail on the belt was a lovely surprise when I looked at the close-ups – and her ring too, of course, ha. Comfy but still classy: top marks.

Also, what with everyone else seemingly overdressing this year at Sundance (don’t get me wrong, I love fashion, but Sundance was never really about that, was it? It’s always been far more casual) she more than gets a thumbs up for this look anyway, as it feels perfect for the event.

This is one bad look and I can’t help it but feel surprise it got so many likes. It looks like a sweater over a lace dress styled with a belt and some hideous boots. What is it that I don’t get?
I wouldn’t wear this not even if I was down with a cold and had to go to the drugstore on a rainy/snowy day and that was the only outfit available. Let alone to a festival premiere.

Is she seriously wearing this on the red carpet? Come on girl, pick up the couture game!

  13. Anne Gallagher January 21, 2014 at 03:03 #

The sweater is so baggy! I find it hard to believe it is designer sweater, and not something off the rack.
