Helen Mirren In Elie Saab Couture – 2014 Producers Guild of America Awards

Helen Mirren In Elie Saab Couture - 2014 Producers Guild of America Awards

Dame Helen Mirren joined Lupita Nyong’o on the red carpet for the 25th annual Producers Guild of America Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 19) in Beverly Hills, California following her SAG Awards win on Saturday.

If you have been missing a bit of sparkle and magic from the red carpet king this awards season, Helen’s Elie Saab Fall 2013 Couture nude gown with embellishment on the sleeves and bodice which cascades onto the skirt should pep you up.

How she consistently looks glamorous and sexy at 68 years old, putting girls half her age to shame, is a secret she needs to bottle and sell.

A Swarovski white satin ‘Nirvana Star’ clutch and Neil Lane jewels accessorized the look, with a hot-pink lip and asymmetrical ‘do rounding out her look.

Now this is what I’m talking about (!!). I didn’t really like her SAG look, it felt heavy and overwhelming on her, it accented her age. This look, however, is gorgeous – delicate, sexy, feminine, it highlights her amazing figure to perfection. She truly shines in this gown, looking fresher, lighter, sexier, also prefer her hair styled this way (would’ve preferred lighter pink lip and nail polish with this ethereal gown though). MUCH prefer this look on her, wish she had worn it to the SAG awards.

      +1. I thought the SAG’s were a rare miss.

Helen has a spectacular body and beautiful skin on her neck and décolleté, so she can wear just about anything, but is appropriate enough not to bare too much. She knows herself well and exudes tons of confidence. Women of all ages should take heed.

I thoroughly agree with both statements above, and couldn’t have said it better. This is BDOTW-worthy for me.

The sheer top even though lined still bothers me a little. That said it’s really a magnificent look.

Wow. So pretty, delicate, and graceful. The fit is perfect and the design highlights her gorgeous figure. I’d say this is one of her best!

This dress is definitely Oscar worthy.

    Classy and gorgeous as always.

Oooh, I wish she had waited to bring this to the Oscar ceremony (assuming she’s attending). This is perfection. Easily one of the best looks during this award season.

This is so so stunning and regal, I have no complaints. BDOTW worthy.
