Sandra Bullock In Lanvin – 2014 SAG Awards

Sandra Bullock In Lanvin – 2014 SAG Awards

Sandra Bullock continued through her big award season at the 2014 SAG Awards in Los Angeles tonight (January 18).

The nominee and ‘Gravity’ star wore an emerald green Lanvin gown inspired by the designer’s Pre-Fall 2014 collection.

She paired the gown with silver Jimmy Choo ‘Valetta’ sandals, a metallic Roger Vivier ‘Boite de Nuit’ clutch and a simple gold bangle.

While the colour is perfection, I am so not feeling this gown. The fabric feels heavy, and the shape is doing very little for Sandra’s enviable figure.

A messy updo, bold smokey eyes and pink lips complete the look.

Or you with me on this, or do you love Sandra’s look?

I agree, the color with the material is beautiful. She is my second favorite after Lupita. Love this look!

She looks gorgeous! As we know how perfect is her figure underneath the dress, I don’t mind the fit as the color and the fabrics both look amazing! And gosh, the hair & makeup! She looks really beautiful

      I agree as well

I also agree. It did reminded me on her red J. Mandel, but this is stunning.

Perfection :) Best dressed of the night for me definitely. I love the colour of the dress and her hair is beautiful :)

I accept it but I can’t understand how could you not love this look.

Way way way too similar to her red J.Mendel. I swear its basically the same dress but in green.

I’m perplexed. It looks wonky somehow. As though it needs to be pulled in a different direction? Also, her hair a bit tragic. The colour is nice though!

The color is pretty but the heavy fabric make it read like a Xmas gift.

    • Camille January 19, 2014 at 16:31 #

Exactly! The way the material folds at the slit reminds me of that heavy foiled Christmas wrapping paper. The crease isn’t sharp enough, or maybe the material is just a tad too stiff. Love the color, just not the drape.

Sandra is a hottie knockout!!!!! Hair and makeup are flawless and she needs to bottle and sell whatever is making her look so damn good!!!!

she looks lovely. it’s a different take on the floor length gowns. the color is really complimenting her skin tone

  8. Nat January 19, 2014 at 03:05 #

Didn`t she wear something similar to that previously?

  9. Lee January 19, 2014 at 03:52 #

She looks fantastic! Love the colour. Love that she is really trying to switch it up every award show.

    • Alina January 19, 2014 at 05:58 #

      I agree 100%.

Agree with the Fashion Critic. Hair, makeup, and the gown’s color are simply stunning on Sandra. However, the shape of said gown is doing her no favors in the hip area. The metallic sheen isn’t helping in that regard.

I love this! The green is beautiful. The fabric does look heavy but I like that about it. It gives it shape and texture and with it, personality.

  12. Elise January 19, 2014 at 08:21 #

She looks beautiful but the dress looks cheap with that fabric

  13. Serenity January 19, 2014 at 08:51 #

I think-no, I know-this is the best she has looked all awards season thus far. She is stunning here, as she usually is. #backatherbest

I wouldn’t have liked this gown on everyone, but I do like it on Sandra. The colour looks great on her.

I have issues with this look too. I agree that the green is heavenly, her styling is spot on and make up is great. But I don’t like her hair at all. A bit lifeless in my opinion. The shape of the dress is doing her no favours and hasn’t she worn a similar silhouette before and looked way better?

  16. Noemi January 19, 2014 at 13:29 #

Love this from head to toe.

  17. kane January 19, 2014 at 15:33 #

This is a no for me. I don’t think I can resist any shade of emerald, but the texture of the dress seems odd and the cut is so uninspired. She’s done so much better.

  18. Susan January 19, 2014 at 15:37 #

    Pretty color

  19. Joy January 20, 2014 at 00:39 #

I dislike everything about this look. It’s one of those when bad fashion happens to good people situations. Come on Sandra, please bring it for the rest of the award season!

  20. Anne Gallagher January 20, 2014 at 02:05 #

My main problem with this dress is that there isn’t enough volume in the skirt.

  21. gabis January 20, 2014 at 18:07 #

I’m with you. The emerald green is fantastic but the dress is unflattering. Plus I don’t like her hair.

  22. EmmaWoodhouse January 20, 2014 at 18:42 #

Beautiful color and fabric, awkward, unflattering dress and boring styling.
