Emilia Clarke In Calvin Klein Collection – 2014 SAG Awards

Emilia Clarke In Calvin Klein Collection – 2014 SAG Awards

Emilia Clarke looked every bit the movie star (HBO counts, right?) on the red carpet of the 2014 SAG Awards in Los Angeles tonight (January 18).

The ‘Game of Thrones’ star wore a custom Calvin Klein Collection gown with a Rauwolf clutch and Pomellato jewelry.

In addition to having the moment many woman would kill for on the red carpet (a little flirting with Jared Leto), Emilia really brought the glam tonight.

The liquid rose gold gown is perfection on the star, and a casual, sideswept updo keep the glamour grounded.

Her perfect skin, enviable brows and raspberry lips synch the deal on this perfect look.

Beautiful hair and makeup. Underwhelmed by the gown. Not loving the no earring trend. Things are looking unfinished.

      I agree.

I don’t mind the no earrings but dislike the clutch. I agree about the unfinished look. The dress is well formed to her body but just looks so boring like it’s just at the starting point before they add details. For me, this is the most boring look (including color) of the night.

      I agree.

The dress is perfection on her. Fits her body like a glove. Looks so good!

+3, I have never found her to be gorgeous until now.

She really has taken her style up a notch. I love this on her.

I don’t like the cut and wouldn’t mind something a bit more youthful perhaps.

Stunning dress…Emilia looks amazing…and youre right FC who wouldn’t want to flirt with Jared Leto while wearing an amazing gown.

This look feels dated. There’s nothing wrong with it but we’ve seen it a zillion times.

I don’t care for the dress. It’s like slightly grotesque skin-tone color, and the lack of jewelry is bothering me too.

She looks fine but the dress makes her looks somehow shapeless, her waist seems wider. that said the hair & makeup team did a great job

    • Yeliz January 19, 2014 at 09:54 #

I agree. Love her barely there makeup.

This is a look I wish I could have seen in motion. The color is gorgeous but the waistline is a bit boxy and unflattering.

My bigger issue is with the lack of earrings and the hair style. I understand no earrings if there is a dramatic neckline or necklace that you don’t want to detract from. Why here though? This look would have been much improved IMO with some movement and sparkle on her ears. I also truly dislike her hairstyle. She’s a beautiful woman and I think it is very unflattering.

Is it just me or could this look do with a belt ????

You’re not the oonly one. The dress looks shapeless. I don’t mind the hair at all and the missing earrings or whatever. The make up is divine but the first and foremost issue over here is the shapelessness of the dress. And that black clutch.

Neck up, so gorgeous! The description of the dress was gorgeous, but in execution it looks really drab.

  12. Susan January 19, 2014 at 15:49 #

    Wow

Love this gown on her, love her hair and makeup. Wish she’d worn a fabulous earring to put the icing on the cake so to speak.
