Kristen Bell In Pamella Roland – 2014 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Kristen Bell In Pamella Roland - 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Kristen Bell attended the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 16) in Santa Monica, California as one of the presenters of the night.

The actress opted for a dramatic Pamella Roland part-embellished halter gown featuring a keyhole detail and a floor-sweeping train.

Styled with a black Edie Parker clutch, Brian Atwood shoes, and Norman Silverman earrings, it’s a big gown for the petite star, but one I think she pulls off well.

Perhaps inspired by Keira Knightley’s bold smudged eye makeup, Kristen’s eye makeup was just as dramatic as her gown.

This dress is terrible and cheap looking

cheap-looking is the word that comes to mind.

I hate to say it, but I really hate this, and that isn’t a word I use often. The worst part-yes, even worse than her makeup, is that off-center keyhole. It makes the dress look crooked and/or her chest lopsided. Bad design, bad fabric, bad embellishment, just all bad. Sorry Kristen….

Eh, it’s fine. I wish the neckline was either more to the side or completely central. Just looks of kilter at the moment.

Well I loved it. I agree that the neckline should have been centered or something different because at first I kept wondering if it was crooked, but that’s obviously the designer’s mistake. Loved the hair and the makeup too because it’s different from what she usually does and the dress is a sharp turn from her style lately (which I almost always adore) which is why I thought it was refreshing to see

I have a déjà vu feeling with this gown. I agree with others that it’s a bit cheap looking.

Minority opinion here. I think she looks great. Her style doesn’t always jive with me, but I think this all works.
