Jennifer Lopez In Tom Ford - 'American Idol' XIII Season Premiere Event

As the only woman on the panel, all attention turned to Jennifer Lopez at the ‘American Idol’ XIII season premiere event held at Royce Hall, UCLA on Tuesday (January 14) in Westwood, California.

The singer donned a signature high-neck long-sleeved mini dress from Tom Ford’s Spring 2014 collection, which has also been favoured by Beyonce Knowles and Julianne Moore.

Jennifer’s black-and-white patterned leather version, which she styled with white pumps, doesn’t excite me like the other two showings.

I loved the element of surprise with Julianne’s look and the boots worn with Beyonce’s, but I feel totally indifferent to this look.

She may have piqued my interest had she opted to wear her hair in a sleek ponytail, because it is getting in the way here.

I agree with you FC, a ponytail would have been much better., the hair doesn’t work with the dress. The shoes are uninspired, something more edgy would have been great.

I like the dress, and I know she could’ve rocked it because it does look great on her, but she totally fails to excite with her lackluster styling. Do something with that hair every now and then!

She looks like she can’t breathe! It really should’ve been one size bigger. Her body is amazing though..I can’t believe she’s over 40!

Yeah, between the dress and the hair, her neck has disappeared. The black and white is making her look a bit colorless too. Not her best look.
