Golden Globes Hair Trend Spotting: Deep Side Parts

Golden Globes Hair Trend Spotting Deep Side Parts

While plenty of different beauty looks were seen on the red carpet at Sunday’s Golden Globe awards, there was one major trend we spotted on the stars: deep side parts. Whether the hair was left down or pulled into a ponytail or updo, the deep side part was definitely the look to have.

Sandra Bullock’s hair was given a deep side part before being pulled into a relaxed side ponytail, and Emma Watson’s hair was sleeked into a side part before being wrapped into a messy-but-chic chignon.

A deep part was the foundation of Cate Blanchett’s retro-inspired faux-bob, and Kerry Washington’s hair was given a side part before being coiffed into shiny, loose waves.

Other stars who wore the trend include Reese Witherspoon, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Margot Robbie, Kaley Cuoco and Sarah Paulson.

To get the look at home, use a rat tail comb to get a precise line. Then, if you want a voluminous final look, apply a soft hold mousse, like Oscar Blandi Hair Lift Mousse and for a sleek final ‘do, go for a shine serum like Alterna’s Caviar Anti-Aging Polishing Serum.
