Taissa Farmiga In Elie Saab – 2014 Golden Globe Awards

Taissa Farmiga In Elie Saab - 2014 Golden Globe Awards

Taissa Farmiga emerged on the scene at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday (January 12).

The ‘American Horror Story’ up-and-coming starlet bucked the evening’s penchant for longer gowns, instead opting for a youthful, off-white frock from Elie Saab’s Spring 2014 collection.

The short dress was a charming one, what with its romantic, lacy layers. But the creamy colour nearly blended into her alabaster complexion, creating a bit of a plain, one-note effect.

Stuart Weitzman’s ‘Nudist’ sandals did nothing to bring a much-needed punch of lively colour to the look, nor did her barely-pink lip.

Lovely! She looks so much like her sister.

Oh, and after seeing all the posts from this event, I must say I’m quite surprised by the lack of Elie Saab gowns. I’m sure you are too, FC.

Not a fan of this look on her. She’s such a pretty girl and this did nothing for her. Also, not an appropriate dress for the Globes, no matter your age.

Too short, too washed out, too little girl -underwhelming.

Now this is what I call ‘vanilla’.

Agreed – this gown didn’t do anything to make her stand out.

I have to disagree.. I love the paleness of this look! Girlish, pretty and ethereal.

I think she looks very lovely, I like it.

This look is underwhelming for sure.

even though yes, the dress nearly blended into her complexion I still think it fits her really well, the problem with this not being a great outfit was the hair, if she should’ve made a high ponytail the whole look would have been looked different.

Such a cute dress, but the shoes do nothing for it. Prettier shoes in a vibrant hue would have added a much needed punch of colour, as would a much brighter lipstick.
