Laura Vandervoort In Rachel Gilbert – NBC/Universal’s Golden Globes After Party

Laura Vandervoort In Rachel Gilbert - NBC Universal's Golden Globes After Party

Laura Vandervoort got her red carpet account started for 2014 at the NBC/Universal Golden Globes after-party held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 12) in Beverly Hills, California.

The beautiful actress, who has opted for a darker hair colour for 2014, wore a Rachel Gilbert nude strapless gown with black-beaded stripes all over, which she styled with John Hardy jewels, a Lauren Merkin clutch and Ruthie Davis heels.

If you’re having a case of déjà vu, that’s because this gown bears a striking resemblance to the Zuhair Murad Couture gown worn by Blake Lively back in 2012.

    Nothing WOW, but nice.

P.S.: I want to give you, all the members of the RFCA team, a shout out. You’ve done an incredible job – practically, a 24/24 coverage.
I hope there’ll be a special post to find out who was FC’s best dressed at the Golden Globes.

I like this, though I think that the gown sits a tad too low.

She looks good as her new show “Bitten” :)

She looks amazing. I think the print may be similar to Blake’s dress, but the cut and structure are another world. In love with this!

Don’t like the almost see-through skirt–her pelvis and leg look positively skeletal.

Reminded me of Blake instantly, very similar. Never liked this striped design then and dislike Laura’s version even more although I much prefer her elegant approach to styling.

    Great look in my book.

GREAT look. This girl is gorgeous.

I’m not loving this, I think because it does remind me so much of Blake’s, which I positively adored. Nothing can quite compare, I guess. No doubt, she is beautiful. Not sure if I am thrilled about the new hair color either.

Also, looking at other pics, YES, the dress sits WAY too low, and she has the exact same expression in every single frame. Not one single smile?? That bothers me…

I agree. This is total deja vu.

Love it! I didn’t care much for this dress when Blake Lively wore it, but this is stunning. The pattern and cut is much cleaner, and so is her styling. Such a pretty lip color!

she looks naked. the dress is sitting too low. not her best look!

  13. Tracy January 14, 2014 at 00:52 #

She looks gorgeous, but this dress and design feels a little dated. Makeup is perfection.

Meh! I have seen it before. It seems dated.
