Hayden Panettiere In Tom Ford – 2014 Golden Globe Awards

Hayden Panettiere In Tom Ford – 2014 Golden Globe Awards

Hayden Panettiere went for a black and white theme on the red carpet of the 2014 Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles this evening (January 12).

The ‘Nashville’ star and nominee wore a graphic Tom Ford gown with a bejeweled halter detailing.

Simple black pumps, diamond-encrusted earrings and a white box clutch completed the on-trend look.

Her slicked back hair, nude lips and voluminous lashes are smart and sexy.

Despite lots of strong components, I’m still not completely crazy about this look. Are you?

You may remember that Jourdan Dunn wore this same gown to the Harper’s Bazaar Party late last year.

I wish the dress didn’t have the slit and the shoe’s weren’t the best choice.

Thought that dress looked familiar. Jourdan Dunn wore it to Harpers Baazar

This is not a good dress for her petit figure. Not liking the hair either.

This is so sad. Such a beautiful girl in such a horrible dress.

Her neck is too short to wear a high v-neck line such as the one on this gown. It makes her look stumpy.

Completely agree. The dress is a bit boring as it is, but she’s too short for this dress. This is a case of not knowing what works on your body. It makes her look short and stocky. She had been looking better lately, but this is definitely a miss. Her hair and make up also leave much to be desired.

This looks like she took Julianne Moore’s Tom Ford from last year’s Globes and cut the neckline herself!

Hah! Amazing how two such similar gowns give off two such completely different vibes.

Yes, and since i listed Moore’s gown as one my 25 faves of 2013, I recognized the similarity immediately. At first I wondered why Tom Ford’s people would put her in such a similar gown to the same event as last year, but then I realized she bought the gown herself and probably had no idea.

There’s too much going on here, especially for someone so small.

I like the gown – sharp, sexy, on-trend, the bejeweled detail at the neckline feels slightly out of tune and wish she’d worn sandals. I don’t think it’s that bad.

I agree. This would work for me with different, more modern accessories. The brooch at the neckline keeps this from looking as sleek and sexy as it should.

The dress is nice, but the hair is awful. She needed a brighter or darker lippy too.

One of my least favourites tonight.

Ugh, not good. So cheap looking. Can’t believe this is Tom Ford
