AFI Awards 2014 Red Carpet Roundup

Plenty more stars joined Amy Adams, Kate Mara, and Lupita Nyong’o at the 14th annual AFI Awards Luncheon at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills this afternoon (January 10).

Julianna Margulies: The ‘The Good Wife’ star looked chic in black and white donning an Oscar de la Renta blouse and L’Wren Scott pencil skirt with copper Christian Louboutin ointy-toed heels and coordinating clutch and a simple chignon.

Melonie Diaz: The ‘Fruitville Station’ star wore a Honor Spring 2014 dress and worked two spring trends in one–lace and monochromatic white. She paired the dress with a Jimmy Choo ‘Cameo’ clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ suede pumps. A deep side part in her hair and sweet pink lips completed the look.

Christina Hendricks: The ‘Mad Men’ star went for subtle color-blocking in a soft blue Boden sweater over a seafoam Dolce & Gabbana skirt. Classic nude Jimmy Choo pumps and a metallic clutch completed the look.

Robin Wright: The ‘House of Cards’ actress bucked the trend by wearing pants, and paired her Alexander McQueen pants with a tie-front Balenciaga blouse–which feels a bit dated–a metallic Jimmy Choo box clutch and black Jimmy Choo heels.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus: The ‘Veep’ star looked stunning in a floral-adorned Oscar de la Renta ensemble which she sensibly paired with basic gold jewelry and a black clutch. Her satin platforms add just the right amount of sex appeal, while the simple up-do keeps the whole look classy.

Elisabeth Moss: The ‘Mad Men’ actress followed what appears to be the unspoken rule of the event and kept things simple. Her basic white tee looks perfect with the high-waisted Nonoo Pre-Fall 2014 skirt and Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals. No accessories, barely-there makeup and baby pink lips are the perfect answer to her understated look.
