Anna Wintour In Prada – ‘Girls’ Season Three Premiere

Anna Wintour In Prada - 'Girls' Season Three Premiere

Anna Wintour joined Zosia Mamet, Allison Williams and Lena Dunham on the red carpet for the season three premiere of ‘Girls’ held at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Monday (January 6) in New York City.

The Prada Spring 2014 collection was the trickiest to wear yet, so I wondered how the collection would be Anna-fied.

While we wait to see her in a dress from this collection, on this occasion she wore a fur coat with a mural portrait of a woman in a bold painted print.

With temperatures well below freezing it was no surprise that the editor-in-chief of American Vogue swapped out her beloved Manolo Blahnik sandals for black leather knee-high boots.

Does anyone else find that fur scarf a tad creepy?

Anna showing her quirky side huh? Lol.

  4. CTgirl January 7, 2014 at 13:33 #

Ummm, no. It is always a big old no to have a bulky knitted face hovering over your stomach and lulu. The whole look is creepy.

Not a great outfit, but I dislike the hunched posture even more.

    This is awful.

Her posture and sheepish look screams “I knew I shouldn’t have lost that New Year’s Eve bet!”
Needless to say, it’s a huge NO from me too!

I would have loved it on Anna Dello Russo but Anna Wintour? No, thanks.

  9. Dressaddict January 7, 2014 at 14:32 #

She looks like she has no neck or like it’s a photoshopped picture with her head put on someone else’s body.

  10. Carrie January 7, 2014 at 15:38 #

I don’t get it. So odd.

  11. Rebecca Z January 7, 2014 at 16:05 #

What an odd choice for her. She looks terrible–creepy as you and CTgirl both noted!

It’s amazing that something that cost £40,000 could be so ugly

  13. bokaki January 7, 2014 at 17:12 #

so the devil wears Prada ?! :P

i like the coat, i usually find her style so boring, at least she sparked my attention with this one.

  15. Serenity January 7, 2014 at 17:23 #

I find all real fur creepy, but this scarf is a major offender. I kind of like the coat, though, just not on her.

  16. Amanda January 7, 2014 at 17:25 #

Everything about this is heinous. Her love of fur is disgusting and outdated. Why do we let her tell us anything about fashion?

  17. cherrysoftness January 8, 2014 at 01:56 #

Would this look better is she wasn’t posing like a turtle?

  18. Markness January 8, 2014 at 02:30 #

Call me crazy but I like the coat. I’m sure it’s not WDOTY worthy. I’m pretty sure we’re gonna see a lot more hot messes and it’s a coat that’s been styled classically. Nothing much but damn is Anna so powerful that she got a custom made Prada fur coat.

  19. Noemi January 8, 2014 at 08:47 #

She’s wearing fur and boots while all the other women are dressed like it was summer. I will never understand how the can do it!

  20. kinella January 8, 2014 at 09:31 #

she doesnt have the right attitude and personal style (and age, sorry) to sport this.

this whole collection is fun but not for everyone.

  21. Dhppy January 8, 2014 at 21:33 #

Heaven help me. I kind of like the coat. But then again, I think that if you are under 20 or over 60, your style should be as colorful, playful and outlandish as can be.
