Allison Williams In Christian Dior – ‘Girls’ Season Three Premiere

Allison Williams In Christian Dior - 'Girls' Season Three Premiere

Allison Williams joined co-star Lena Dunham on the red carpet for the season three premiere of ‘Girls’ held at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Monday (January 6) in New York City.

The actress wore a dress from one of her go-to designers, Dior, selecting a pale-blue silk-leather-and-satin dress with a bodice decorated with floral appliqués, a pleated skirt and a rise-and-fall hemline.

There is something very Ariel Winter/Lucy Hale about this frock, and what I mean by that is that it feels better suited to a teen Hollywood starlet.

Allison styled her pretty frock with Dior blush pumps, Dior Fine Jewelry ‘Bagatelle’ white-gold-and-diamond earrings and a ‘Bagatelle’ white-gold-and-diamond ring.

A tight bun accented with an ornate jewelled brooch, and a pink lip completed her look.

I don’t like these dress on her and the shoes are awful, really dated.

My reply was misplaced to below am curious as to why you think they are dated especially since everyone from Isabel marant to Jenna Lyons shows them

All I can think about is how amazing Kiernan Shipka would look in this dress!

Danger, danger, satin overload! Her look is completely underwhelming and even cheap. No wonder her style role model is Jennifer Aniston.

    It feels dated for me.

So twee and very expected from her. Therefore boring.

I don’t care for the shoes and this looks to cutesy.

I don’t care for the individual ingredients of this look, but it somehow works for her.

I agree that this is a bit too twee for her, but I still kinda like this look. Love the hairstyle.

I love this look and don’t feel like it is too tween at all. In fact Lucy & Allison are only a year apart in age (24&25). I find it fun, sophisticated, and feminine. Definitely one of the better Dior selections I have seen of late.

My thoughts exactly. She looks so pretty. Not edgy, to be sure, but pretty. Nothing wrong with that. And I can’t understad why people think this dress cheap and dated. IMHO, it is lovely.

I couldn’t agree more – love this look!

I love her usually. But this isn’t my favorite look of hers. Too cutesy.

  11. Ericka January 7, 2014 at 15:50 #

Too saccharine on her. Perfect for Kiernan Shipka.

My instant thought – a little girl going to a birhtday party, def. too young and cutesy for her.

Sorry I don’t mean to appear rude and everyone is entitled to their opinion but How are the shoes dated? They are ina pretty putty pink material, asymmetrical top, lucite heels and pointed toes. Everyone from Isabel Marent to Gemma Lyons of J crew shows shoes like this.

    • Serenity January 7, 2014 at 21:29 #

I agree, I don’t find the shoes or the dress dated. But, then again, looks like I’m in the minority.
