Adèle Exarchopoulos In Balmain R14 - New York Film Critics Circle Awards

Adèle Exarchopoulos joined Melonie Diaz, Octavia Spencer and Cate Blanchett on the red carpet for the 2014 New York Film Critics Circle Awards Ceremony held at The Edison Ballroom on Monday (January 6) in New York City.

The French actress, who we can expect to see on the red carpet at the Golden Globes on Sunday, wore a high-neck, bold shouldered Balmain Resort 2014 white long sleeve part-quilted, part-chiffon ensemble accented with gold button detailing.

This look, which she styled with gold hooped earrings and sexy cat-eyes, would’ve benefited from better footwear.

Her shoes, sadly, add nothing to the youthfulness look.

What an ugly dress, and poorly styled. Hard to imagine what would have attracted anyone to this. The short short length just doesn’t go with the overall construction of the dress. Her hair looks terrible.

I MIGHT have liked this better if she had worn the lookbook skirt, but as is, it’s a no go. I can’t think of a single thing she has worn on the red carpet that I’ve liked. And her hair and makeup is always so sloppy, IMO.

A French woman wearing Balmain looking terrible and uncomfortable. What’s going on here? And that awful hair. Everything is so constricted and the shoes are so random, it’s kind of the opposite of what you’d expect.

I love this dress but i does not look good on her. Model Caroline Brasch Nielsen looked amazing in it at the victorias secret december fashionshow afterparty
