Street Style Star 2013 – Miranda Kerr

Street Style Star 2013 – Miranda Kerr

Put Miranda Kerr on any sidewalk, and it instantly transforms into her personal catwalk. The supermodel has street cred in spades when it comes to her impeccable off-duty fashion; so much so that she easily stole this year’s nod for the second time in a row.

The Aussie beauty has a near uncanny ability to strut out look-at-her ensembles that are effortless but oh-so-perfect, rather ironically making her street style just as memorable—if not more so—as her red-carpet entrances.

From skinny jeans (Frame denim is a fave) and rocker-luxe blazers (say, a leather one by Balmain) to breezy dresses and maxi skirts, her closet is undoubtedly an enviable one, filled with cool-girl labels like Diane von Furstenberg, Isabel Marant, Michael Kors and Stella McCartney.

Of course, accessories are key, too, whether it’s a pair of oversized Stella shades, Christian Louboutin flats or her still-favoured Givenchy ‘Antigona’ bag.

Whether she’s flaunting first-class airport style or chicly jet-setting around New York City, Paris and beyond, this model mom is the epitome of everyday glam.

She has a stylist like Jessica alba for the street style. It’s not fair. i can’t agree with the title

i cannot agree either! olivia palermo deserved it much more.she has no stylist but an impeccable sense of style herself, queen of accessorising and high-end combination!

Olivia Palermo & Rosie were my picks (I couldn’t choose!), because I think they had a better year than Miranda.

Although I’m a huge fan of Miranda’s street style I really thought Jessica Alba or Olivia Palermo will win the contest this year.

Miranda was my pick, and she completely deserves it. Whether she has a stylist or not, she clearly has input into what she wears on her own body. We wouldn’t NOT vote someone on the RC BDOTY because they use a stylist. It’s also a huge component to one’s stylishness in how they carry themselves, accessorize, and style their hair and makeup. For appearances, Miranda may have those things done for her, but it’s obvious by looking at her on her truly ‘off days’, that she’s not sitting in a hair and makeup chair, or ringing up her stylist to come over and lay her outfit out from top to bottom.

I always find her style to be so contrived. Somehow it doesn’t feel natural.
