Kristen Wiig In Michael Kors – ‘The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty’ New York Screening

Kristen Wiig In Michael Kors – ‘The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty’ New York Screening2

Kristen Wiig attended the ‘The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty’ screening on Wednesday (December 18) in New York City.

Keeping up the masculine trend kick-started by Kim Basinger earlier in the week, Kristen wore a Michael Kors look featuring a white shirt with leg-of-mutton sleeves, sleek black pants and the brand’s signature oversized black bow.

Dark-grey Christian Louboutin ‘Iriza’ pumps – designed with a pointed toe and cut-out sides for an alluring feminine shape – and a selection of House of Lavande rings accessorized her look.

Considering the bow, perhaps her hair up would’ve been ideal, but it doesn’t detract too much from her look.

Do you like Kristen’s feminine take on the menswear trend?

To answer the question asked at the end of the post – NO.

I’m joining the chorus. Who would put her in something so ridiculous–her stylist clearly doesn’t get her.

I think the huge bow is ridiculous.
And I don’t like the hair, the make up and the shirt. This is nos a good look for sure.

She looks crazy. The bow is ugly

  4. joseph December 19, 2013 at 13:46 #

I think the over size now and sleeves further adds,to her comic personality rather than feminity.

I thing the big bow is too much, the rest of the outfit is Ok

That bow looks like something for a clown to wear. Awful.

      +1

Oh dear, I just want to laugh. That bow, good lord, leave it for presents under the tree.

  8. Marilyn December 19, 2013 at 14:16 #

All a bit funereal for me – ugh!

  9. Mary December 19, 2013 at 15:16 #

Hell no, about the bow. A disaster is the only thing to think about make-up (make-down)…

  10. kane December 19, 2013 at 15:32 #

This is… baffling. And she knows.

    • Serenity December 19, 2013 at 21:09 #

Right? Her face says it all: “Geez, I look like a moron”.

  11. Carol December 19, 2013 at 15:32 #

Sorry, no. Might have been saved with better hair and makeup. The only good thing about this outfit is the shoes.

  12. Malinda Jane December 19, 2013 at 16:57 #

She looks like a lady Colonel Sanders (from KFC).
    It’s ridiculous.

The only thing that looks bad is the sizing of the bow. If it were smaller, this would’ve looked really great. I love the other pieces, so this is just a case of 1 large misstep ruining a look.

The droopy oversized bow is awful and silly and in combination with those sleeves, it’s all starting to look a bit comical. The grey pumps don’t make much sense, and the hair needed to be pulled back/up – it’s too much, considering the bow.

  15. lori December 19, 2013 at 18:10 #

She needs a bit of blush and the bow overwhelms her

  16. sara December 19, 2013 at 20:24 #

I think the bow on its own would have been tolerable, but with the hair in the way and the ridiculous sleeves, this is a fail for me.

  17. Evil Britta December 20, 2013 at 00:14 #

I personally love the bow! I think if the sleeves were toned down a bit this would be wonderful.

  18. CTgirl December 20, 2013 at 03:52 #

She looks like a thin Oscar Wilde in this getup. Not good at all.

This looks so silly. It’s like a costume for a SNL sketch. I love the idea of her in a menswear inspired look, but this is not it.
