Vanessa Hudgens In Maria Lucia Hohan – 25th Birthday Party

Vanessa Hudgens In Maria Lucia Hohan - 25th Birthday Party

Vanessa Hudgens celebrated her 25th birthday with a celebratory party held at No Vacancy on Saturday (December 14) in Hollywood, California with her boyfriend Austin Butler.

The actress channelled her inner 40s screen siren wearing a Maria Lucia Hohan blush-coloured gown, amping up the look with white satin opera gloves accented with Jenny Packham jewels, a fur stole and silver satin embellished clutch.

Her sultry, mysteriously sexy femme-fatale look was styled with Veronica Lake long wavy locks for the finishing touch.

Did she nail the look for you without looking to costumey?

Wow! I wouldn’t think she could look this glamorous. Lol.

    She looks gorgeous. I like!

why wouldn’t you think that ? she always looks phénoménal when she get it right , lol. anyway i also think she looks gorgeou.

      • Christine December 16, 2013 at 11:53 #

Because she is normally a miss on the red carpet. That bohemian chic look only work for some. Sometimes she pulls off, majority of the times she does not lol.

yeah yeah i agree but i still think her face is stunning too bad we can’t say the same about her style ……

She looks amazing here from Head to Toe. Makeup is beautiful! She should go this route more often.

I agree with you but I think the gloves make it look costume to me otherwise it would be perfect.

LOVE. The gloves are a tad overkill, but she is still killing it in this outfit.

  3. Elaine December 16, 2013 at 12:15 #

This is too costumey IMO – she should have lost the gloves

Of course it looks like a costume, but a good one. It was her birthday party so I think she was right to wear what she wanted. xD You can never be overdressed for your own party *lol*. Personally, I think she would have looked even more on spot if she had pulled back her hair into a shiny 40s updo.

Not costumey fot me at all, looks like she’s attending a really glamorous event. I love it!

I don’t like the gloves at all, definitely costumey. Dress is ok, but I wish I could see it without the dead fox draped over her. What are the little crystal pencils tucked into her waistband?

    • Serenity December 16, 2013 at 18:03 #

Those were my very same qualms. I hate fur, and those crystals look like Christmas tree lights stuck in her waist band. I think she looks glam and gorge, nonetheless.

Here’s the thing – yes, it was her birthday but this just really reeks of trying too hard. Either her other guests didn’t get the theme, or it was a theme of 1.

    • Alina December 16, 2013 at 18:52 #

      Ditto.

  7. Cássia December 16, 2013 at 15:21 #

Why people still use fur? I just can’t understand…

    • lola December 18, 2013 at 23:52 #

Lol! I love fur, when it is done right.

she looks good.. i don’t get the hate. Btw i think her Jewelrys are by jenny Packham

  9. Yeliz December 16, 2013 at 19:06 #

She looks good here, even though I don’t really like the gloves.

  10. Nat39 December 16, 2013 at 19:45 #

She way overdid it. On someone like Dita it would’ve been a different story.

  11. ok December 16, 2013 at 23:56 #

I don’t get the hate either. I don’t necessarily hate ‘costume’ if it’s at a party or a festive special occassion–I think people should have fun with fashion.

She looks glamorous and very beautiful.

    • ok December 16, 2013 at 23:57 #

      But I HATE the fur.

  12. Noemi December 17, 2013 at 10:09 #

Too costumey, the gloves look cheap, I hate the fur and the embellishment on the dress look like it’s going to fall.
