Zoe Saldana attended the 2013 amfAR Inspiration Gala Los Angeles held at Milk Studios on Thursday evening (December 12) in California.
Back to showcasing her sartorial style, she wore a Marni Spring 2014 black belted peplum dress with asymmetrical layered ruffles, an open-back and a V-neckline.
Incorporating ruby elements into her look, she wore David Yurman mandarin-garnet-and-rubellite drop earrings with a black-diamond pinky ring, to which she added red velvet Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps, carrying an olive clutch embellished with ruby stones which matched both her lips and nails.
While I really like this look with the unpredictable accessories, I prefer the runway colour and styling with the sleeves down and beltless.

I prefer Zoe – the look is sleeker, sexier, it’s somewhat pyjamary on the runway. And I think the belt is a perfect addition, she is rocking the hell out of this look.
I like this look and it’s pretty on Zoe but I think it would’ve look really good on someone with more curves.
Although I love her hair, make up and shoes I think her version looks kind of cheap.
I love her look. I don’t like the runway version. She looks classy and sexy. Love the pops of red in her accessories.
I totally agree. Zoe’s version gives the dress so much more life. She looks gorgeous.
She looks alright here but it’s underwhelming for sure.
I kinda like her version with the belt and the sleeves up. She looks good.

+3. At first I wasn’t too keen on this look, but after seeing the close-ups, I’ve come to really appreciate the details and craftsmanship. I love the accessories, hair, and of course, the beautiful makeup, ruby lip included.
I actually for the event prefer the black version because it is less sporty. I also think that the material is heavier than the runway version . I do love the runway colour though. This is a really difficult look to wear and she looks wonderful in it.
