Kristen Wiig In Martin Grant - 'The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty' Berlin Premiere

Kristen Wiig attended ‘The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty’ Berlin premiere on Wednesday evening (December 11) in Germany.

The actress had been stuck in a bit of a rut, always selecting minimalist dresses with similar silhouettes, so I was happy to see her working a different look on this occasion.

She wore a geometric black-and-white Martin Grant Spring 2014 bustier with a gorgeous voluminous flared tea-length black skirt, which she styled with gold Manolo Blahnik pumps and subtle complementary gold jewels.

With her hair swept back, she completed her look with a black manicure.

Are you liking this new look, or do you deem it too twee for the actress?

I agree. It may not be completely perfect, but iit’s a total step in the right direction. Though I really wish she would’ve chosen different shoes–I mean literally, jst about ANYTHING ELSE would’ve looked better.

The length is all wrong and it makes her look shorter than she is. I don’t know who said that midi length was alright for that type of skirt but whoever said it was clearly wrong. Her simple styling is great though.

A proper tea length – be still my heart! I’m not sure if I like this on her, but I’m just happy to see my favorite length done right.

I love the tea length – it’s so pretty. On the model the top part looks nipped in at the waist – on Kristen it looks square and boxy?

Aww, shame, this had potential. But I agree with gabis and amanda respectively about length and waist. Also not my favourite shoes with this dress.

Love it on her! I agree that it should have been cinched in tighter at the waist, but it’s a very fresh look. I’m not thrilled at the top line of the bustier…it’s too straight…but I don’t know how it could have been changed by the designer…
