Fittingly dapper, Benedict Cumberbatch, Richard Armitage, Luke Evans and Orlando Bloom joined Evangeline Lilly on the red carpet at the Sony Centre in Germany last night for the Berlin premiere of ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.’

Benedict Cumberbatch: The British actor came suited in a Dolce & Gabbana blue velvet blazer, bow tie and grey trousers. This is the actors second Dolce & Gabbana velvet suit having worn a red velvet blazer to the LA premiere earlier this month.

Richard Armitage: Keeping up the blue trend, which would be continued throughout the night, Richard Armitage opted for a opted for a navy Unconditional suit set off by a blue tie and shirt. By all accounts, this is a well matched look with a colourful pocket square preventing the look from feeling too one-note.

Luke Evans: The Welsh actor sidestepped the ongoing trend with a grey three-piece suit with a fuchsia accenting tie and blush shirting. While the fit borders on two tight, Evans slides by on the skin of his teeth .

Orlando Bloom: The British turned up on the red carpet in blue with quite a bit more shine than expected. Though the shine of his peak lapeled, blue suit that hit somewhere between electric and navy wasn’t unbearable, it possibly could have used the black silk tie he shunned in favor of strutting the carpet with an open chest.

Mmm, I really like Cumberbatch’s blue velvet and Evan’s purple/pink and gray color combo. I agree that Bloom could benefit from a necktie.

I’m sorry but I just can’t take my eyes off Richard Armitage even though my favourite Benedict Cumberbatch is around, looking equally handsome!

Richard Armitage gets my vote. Orlando looks just plain silly and kind of Ichabod Crane-like. Apparently Miranda got the fashion sense in the divorce settlement.

Orlando Bloom is my favourite, he looks stunning

Richard and Benedict looking great, slightly favour Richard for the beautiful blue shirt and the addition of the contrasting colourful pocket square.
