Naya Rivera In Donna Karan – The Trevor Project’s ‘TrevorLIVE LA’ Event Honouring Jane Lynch

Naya Rivera In Donna Karan - The Trevor Project’s ‘TrevorLIVE LA’ Event Honouring Jane Lynch

Naya Rivera attended The Trevor Project’s ‘TrevorLIVE LA’ event honouring her ‘Glee’ co-star Jane Lynch, which was held at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California on Sunday.

The actress wore a Donna Karan Fall 2013 crushed-velvet-collage and sheer-mesh-sleeved dress in several shades of brown.

As you know, brown is my least favourite red carpet colour, but there is something I like about this dress as it’s season appropriate and not one of the usual abs- or cleavage-baring looks Naya tends to go for.

Her calf-length frock was styled with black Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and gold Neil Lane stud earrings, with a wavy hairstyle, smoky eyes and a matte nude pout providing the finishing touches to her look.

I am surprised she does not have her cleavage on display for once. WOW!

Something about this look I like.

    Surprisingly, I like this look.

I don’t like the hairstyle, plus I think the sandals are too bare for the fall dress.

I’m surprised I like this look too!
Not a fan of brown dresses on the red carpet either, but this looks good.
Also, Naya’s body looks fantastic in this.
Big Sean looked great too. Love his blue suit.

I think she looks great. I think the brown is nice with her skintone.

      I agree.

Her makeup is always so troweled-on I find it hard to get past- I really wish she would relax with the contouring and extreme highlight, it makes her look like a wax figure. The dress hugs her in all the right places, but I would still hate it in any other color, plus I’m not sold on the combination of velvet and mesh…also agree with the too-bare-shoe comment above. I hate to be so negative, but she’s a beautiful YOUNG woman- I’d love it if she presented herself as one and let J.Lo be J.Lo, at least for now.

I see you point on the jlo comparison-
but the make up i love that it is so perfect,

I’ve never been a fan of her OTT style, but this look is just gorgeous. She’s showcasing her fantastic figure in a really sophisticated way, and she looks like a bronzed goddess! I love the retro waves, too.

Love everything but the too bare sandals. This dress calls for something more substantial.

Hate to say it, but would prefer this on a curve-free figure. Gives me too much of a headcheese-J.Lo-Eva Longoria vibe.

Not liking the hair or the shoes, (or the pose). But she does look really good, ALMOST sophisticated-sexy in this. Looks like she has on an engagement ring. I didn’t know they were getting married, if that is the case. ???
