Katy Perry In Blumarine – Unicef Event

Katy Perry In Blumarine - Unicef EventKaty Perry was recently appointed UNICEF’s newest Goodwill Ambassador during a special event at UNICEF Headquarters in New York, where she will focus on engaging young people in the agency’s work to improve the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children and adolescents.

The pop star wore a tulle dress with macramé lace details from the Blumarine Spring 2014 collection. While curve-hugging and slightly sheer in places, the design still translated as quietly sophisticated and appropriate.

Although it was more subdued, the abstracted butterfly pattern on the dress added a moment of more whimsical quirk to which we are accustomed when it comes to Katy.

Nude Christian Louboutin pumps and a minimal makeup approach completed her look. With all the neutral tones, were you left craving some colour from the punch of a bold shoe or the pop of a bright lip?
