Elisabeth Rohm In Randi Rahm – ‘American Hustle’ New York Screening

Elizabeth Rohm In Randi Rahm - ‘American Hustle’ New York ScreeningElisabeth Rohm joined Bradley Cooper at the ‘American Hustle’ New York screening, held at the Ziegfeld Theatre on Sunday evening.

The actress turned on the old-Hollywood sophistication in a deep green, jewel-toned Randi Rahm boat-neck gown with a small train.

Although I wasn’t thrilled with the more undefined fit from the front, the silhouette improved when she turned to the side and revealed the draped, backless detail.

A crystallized clutch and three-tiered, sparkling statement earrings added dazzle to the dress, while a ruby-red lip, black-rimmed bedroom eyes and side-swept blonde waves contributed a vintage-glam appeal.

Compared to the other minimalist gown posted right below, I find this more successful, although there does seem to be a bit too much textile in front forcing her into an awkward excaggerated pose.

I love the deep colour, the sexy draped back, her styling with the contrasting red lippie and side-swept waves is fabulous. Sexy, seductive and confident, she is working this look.

Yes! Although I agree with FC that the fit in front is a bit off, I like this very much for the reasons you give.

Agree with every word. This is a great look from her.

I don’t like this. The fabric looks cheap and it’s surely not being helped by all the flashes and lights.

+1. I don’t care for the neckline and not to be unkind, but her back doesn’t look as good as it needs to be to pull this off.

I didn’t want to be unkind either, so thanks for taking the plunge with that one :)

This is nice but nothing memorable.

Not liking this. the dress looks too long from the front.

The dress is indeed too long in the front which is making her pose awkwardly to show off the back. You need to be built like Hilary Swank to carry off this dress, and it is just not cut well enough to work here. You can’t rely on a low draped back to make up for the front.
