Jennifer Lopez attended the March of Dimes Celebration of Babies Luncheon—held by the leading non-profit organization for pregnancy and baby health— which was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California on Friday afternoon.
The singer was honoured with the ‘Grace Kelly’ Award. Upon accepting her award, Jennifer said, “I am thrilled and honored to be receiving the March of Dimes ‘Grace Kelly Award’ and to continue her legacy of compassion for mothers and children. As a mother myself, I am aware of the importance of healthful pregnancies and babies and I have long been a supporter of March of Dimes and their invaluable work.”
After showcasing her love for all things embellished at the AMAs, the actress wore something more subdued and refined: a pretty Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2014 strapless, green, ivory and black printed frock accented with a thin black waistband.
Her frock was complemented by white patent leather Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps, a black Thalé Blanc ‘Talia Fastueux’ clutch with Swarovski crystals detailing, a chic half-up/half-down hairstyle, green eye shadow, and a glossy nude lip.
Even though I was on the fence regarding the length for a while, I wouldn’t change a thing about this look. It’s event- (and age-) appropriate, well styled (despite my feelings about white pumps) and sophisticated while still maintaining that JLo sex appeal.
