Jennifer Lopez In Bibhu Mohapatra – March Of Dimes’ Celebration Of Babies Hollywood Luncheon

Jennifer Lopez In Bibhu Mohapatra - March Of Dimes' Celebration Of Babies Hollywood Luncheon

Jennifer Lopez attended the March of Dimes Celebration of Babies Luncheon—held by the leading non-profit organization for pregnancy and baby health— which was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California on Friday afternoon.

The singer was honoured with the ‘Grace Kelly’ Award. Upon accepting her award, Jennifer said, “I am thrilled and honored to be receiving the March of Dimes ‘Grace Kelly Award’ and to continue her legacy of compassion for mothers and children. As a mother myself, I am aware of the importance of healthful pregnancies and babies and I have long been a supporter of March of Dimes and their invaluable work.”

After showcasing her love for all things embellished at the AMAs, the actress wore something more subdued and refined: a pretty Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2014 strapless, green, ivory and black printed frock accented with a thin black waistband.

Her frock was complemented by white patent leather Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps, a black Thalé Blanc ‘Talia Fastueux’ clutch with Swarovski crystals detailing, a chic half-up/half-down hairstyle, green eye shadow, and a glossy nude lip.

Even though I was on the fence regarding the length for a while, I wouldn’t change a thing about this look. It’s event- (and age-) appropriate, well styled (despite my feelings about white pumps) and sophisticated while still maintaining that JLo sex appeal.

J’adore h2t, one of my fave looks from her ever.

I don’t like this look. The dress has some fit issues and I don’t like the length on her.

I don’t like the length. The hem should be at her knee and black shoes would have been better.

    LOVE IT! Perfect from h2t.

I think she looks alright, but, the bodice doesn’t fit, and she should shorten the hemline. But it’s always good seeing her look her age.

I love this elegant and slightly retro look on her – very feminine without being frou frou. I love a print and she makes Reece Witherspoon look very frumpy in comparison I’m afraid. Perhaps could have been an inch shorter but that is a nitpick.

This is gorgeous. I love it when she dresses age appropriately.

This dress is oh-so-wrong for JLo’s frame. She’s very petite, so while it the hem hits just below the knee on the model, it is almost ankle-length on her. The proportions just overwhelm her and make her look even shorter. I am also not seeing the “sex appeal” here at all. Since the dress is poorly fitted, it isn’t close-fitting like the runway version and resembles a floral tube.

I agree, the fit is off and it’s unflattering for her body shape. Love the print though.

+2. I LOVE the hair and makeup, and the dress, itself. But, it swallows her whole. Looks good from the waist up, but the lower half is just all bad.

This is a BDOTW worthy look. Love!
