Noomi Rapace In Elie Saab Couture – ‘Fernando Solanas’ Marrakech Film Festival Tribute

Noomi Rapace In Elie Saab Couture - 'Fernando Solanas' Marrakech Film Festival Tribute

Noomi Rapace made her second appearance on the red carpet during the 13th Marrakech International Film Festival for the ‘Fernando Solanas’ Tribute in Morocco yesterday evening.

The Swedish actress also wore her second Elie Saab gown, selecting a rich-red caped gown with an embellished bodice from the Spring 2013 Couture collection.

This look really commands your attention in a way the first one didn’t. This is more like the Noomi I know and love: bold and fearless.

Opting for a nude lip on this occasion, she completed her look with a side-parted bun.

Does this presentation live up to your expectations?

Lovely face, but the dress is really boring.
All the Elie Saab dresses look the same.

Not wowed but this is a much better look.

    Beautiful color.

Striking but a bit matronly. I could see this working better on Jane Fonda or Helen Mirren.

I love this dress. I have a feeling it did not photograph as good as it looked in real life.

Although I like it best on the runway, I do like it on Noomi too. Had she added a bold red lip, it would have been perfect.

      I totally agree with you!

I am SO predictable when it comes to capes.

Its very pretty- is this the same outfit Queen Maxima wore in blue?

great look but it’s hard to look bad in this kind of dress. It also feels like I’m over capes, they don’t have the wow factor anymore as a lot of stars have been wearing them.
    she does look really good

the roots ruin it; you’re in couture darling, get your hair fixed!

I really don’t think that blonde hair suits her. The gown is gorgeous (I totally loved it on the runway) but I’m missing the belt.

It’s a gorgeous dress but I don’t think she wore it well. It needed someone confident and demanding. She just looks…bored

Her hair looks so bad-roots much? I mean who doesn’t get their roots done prior to donning couture! Also, her makeup looks awful, like she woke up from a night of partying, and just wore it that way to the event. AND she needed some support under that dress in the bust. Saggy city. So, in a word, ‘NO’, she did not live up to my expectations for this gorgeous gown.

Gorgeous dress & cape, mediocre presentation. Nevertheless, this is my BDOTW for the beautiful color, embellishments, and striking elegance.

I’m sorry but this is a poor interpretation of such a gorgeous look. I can’t deal with the fact that she’s not wearing that belt and also her bust area looks a bit odd. This gown needed someone more commanding in it.
