Michelle Williams In Louis Vuitton – Charlotte Perriand – Louis Vuitton Collaboration Celebratory Dinner

Michelle Williams In Louis Vuitton - Charlotte Perriand - Louis Vuitton Collaboration Celebratory Dinner

Michelle Williams attended a private dinner celebrating the Charlotte Perriand collaboration with Louis Vuitton in Miami Beach, Florida yesterday evening.

This is our third look at a Louis Vuitton Spring 2014 look on the red carpet, and I have to say I’m quite surprised as the collection at first glance appeared to be tricky to wear.

It’s amazing how the removal of the glass fringes on the shoulders has transformed Michelle’s Louis Vuitton two-tone blue frock into a more wearable piece for a dinner party.

Her crop-sleeved dress with light beading and tassel accents on the hemline was styled with black peep-toes and a satin clutch with embellished details.

The end result is typically Michelle: no-fuss and effortless.

It’s a bit shapeless, but I still think that she looks elegant.

    typically Michelle: old and boring

I love Michelle but I really hate this looks. I can’t find one redeeming quality in that dress.
It looks like a bad sewing project or some weird home-made halloween costume.

this is the one person’s rc dressing I always seem to disagree with you on FC.
this is a total disaster. It gives her zero shape, the length is swallowing her up, the colors are too sombre, the styling is equally bad and the hair and makeup are totally boring.

Looks like a nightgown, not liking this

I love this! Elegant and effortless. Everything does not have to be form-fitting.

If this dress had more a figure flattering silhouette I would like it. It just hangs on her.

This is the issue for me also. I really detested this collection when it was presented on the runway, and so far translations to the red carpet have been mixed, at best..

And now to something completely mumsy, frumpy and shapeless…

I’m sad because I love this woman, I really do.

This is a weird cross between a Native American dress and German lederhosen. Don’t like

LOL!!! Well put Anne! MW is always a miss for me.

everything about this is wrong: shapeless, dull colors, odd length, boring accessories. I mean really? not her best outing.

  12. Christine December 5, 2013 at 10:59 #

    Not liking this. Unflattering

  13. Tracy December 5, 2013 at 10:27 #

Not a fan. It’s shapeless, and the colour is not helping. I don’t even think a red lip would’ve saved this look.

I can’t figure out if it’s the colour, the cut or a combination of the two that makes this such look so dour. I’m not a fan of this village widow look.

Haha! I actually agree with that. I’m hoping that it looked better in motion, but since we have no pics, I’ll have to reluctantly say this is a no for me!
